Just received my Jetspeed 10Q 4u version today in India. Got VS-890 strings alongside, are they worth trying out or should i use NBG98.

The Victor racquet cover provided is quite clumsy though, is this normal for Victor? You can check out the images here

Cheap out via cover. Big deal. Try cheaping out by reducing warranty to 30 days. All thanks to the JS12.

Wait what? the JS10Q warranty is only 30 days because of how many people returned the JS12?

Idk about the world. But in Singapore that's what it is from the distributor. It isn't one racket BTW. It's everything.

But in case of Jetspeed 10 S Q that is more than enough if they break in 6 hours ;)
Just ordered three more of them, if lucky they will last until end of January. That also means my family won't get any Christmas presents

But there is absolutely no reason for them to break in 6 hours. I've tried them..they're completely fine. Within warranty

IMO stringers are the main culprit when brand new rackets break. For people who clash alot, I recommend to settle to a cheap racket (around 30USD) or choose partners very wisely. Especially in recreational/training matches, I wouldn't take the shuttle in a very dangerous situation. I prefer to loose a point in a match which don't count instead of loosing a bunch of money for a match which isn't important. I also recommend to stay far far away from people who see MD as a kind of singles and take everything.

Played as a righty with a lefty for one season. Never clashed. Communication and trust to give the shuttle to the partner is the base for that to prevent clashs. ;) The club player rule like forehand goes first don't work with a lefty. We have other rules instead of such a crap. ;) IIRC I had a light clash last year with a righty when our opponents hit it down the middle, but it seemed that his favorite song was "I want it all" from Queen. :D

Just received my new Jetspeed S 10 Q 4U rackets, 3 of them. Strung with Yonex BG 80 Power and plastic removed from handle their weights are 86, 88 and 86 grams. Not sure if I measured correctly but balance point seems to be 313 mm in all three.

    I agree.

and much better built than the old JS10.

don't bother with the VS890... too dull.... just change to BG80.

damn...what a shame. Make nearly a total different racket out of the S10 and not fixing this. The one Q which I have don't have any sinking after I went through a few S. This sinking stuff gets uglier from time to time. I'm so happy with Li-Ning now...no more worrying anymore. I suggest to claim warranty asap. After 2 jobs with aerosonic, so much time didn't pass...I wish you luck. IMO nobody should pull the trigger for any Victor anymore until they change.

You can see clearly that the grommets are not cut and the string didn't cut into the frame. The graphite is weak as hell and flush the grommet. 24lbs...next new Jetspeed up to 18lbs just with natural gut. :(

Looks like the grommets were rotated 90° before the picture was taken, but still... the graphite does look suspiciously weak.

Doesn't mean a thing. The grommets are clearly in sound condition even on the used sides.

The grommet was rotated by me before send for restring..

I’ve refer the shop guys for claim purpose, but they suggest me to use the racket until the frame got fully sinking and after that they will help me to claim from victor..

And from what i heard, many failed to claim from victor if the frame just got minor sinking problem and the time frame for claiming purposes is so long..until 1 year..

Pretty much. Victor is a pain in the arse to claim anything from.

I'm claiming for 2 JS10 since a month + a few weeks or so. They wrote to my sinking issues "we don't see any damage, just some missing grommets". Luckily both are cracked identical in a strange way between the grommets in a very straight line, so I keep my fingers crossed. BTW, I never turned on mine, they always got fresh regrommeting.

I wouldn't tolerate any new high end racket after two 24-ish jobs which such a condition. I don't know the laws for customers in your country, but I wouldn't accept it.

I think everyone just needs to avoid Victor right now. Why go through this when you could get way stronger frames with the same cost. Of course I'm only talking about the jetspeed (and maybe even Bravesword) frames.
