Strung over 10 times and zero sunken hole? I dont believe this, unless your tension is 19-23lbs all these while.
No, there are multiple versions of the JS10 OC. With/without offset, with deeper grooves and so on. I'm talking about the first batch which has "PYROFIL by Mitsubishi" on the shaft and the batch which just have "PYROFIL" on the shaft, both versions with the same groove and offset.
I agree. IMO it is not just the tension over 27lbs which cause it. Thinner strings tend to give more pressure on a smaller area which also result in sinking. So below 27 and e.g. Aerosonic is also a combination which is deadly. I also have the case that some sink and some not at same tensions same amount of restrings etc. etc., so it is based on luck and this is pretty sad. If I want to burn my money I would play the lottery.
I strung my JS10Q for 30/32 the fifth time last week, and there were no sign of sinking yet. It seems better than my other JS10, or maybe it's just my luck.
It's true that some will sink and some will not even though with same tensions and amount of restrings. Batch and luck plays an important role here. So for those who claimed their victor rackets without sunken hole it's good for them, there is no need to tell people they are stupid. You @hieu nguyen should be glad that your racket is sinking free, but I'm the victim of sunken hole of my JS12, and I stop spending money on Victor rackets until they solve this problem. To those who thinking we are exaggerating about sinking issue, they are yet to solve this problem and please dont deny the fact that JS10 & JS12 having this frame sinking problem.
[OT] This is not the first time I come across the JPX LTD in here these days. I was just cruising through the Mizuno-thread but couldn't find a lot about its specs or any proper review. Do you maybe have a like available? Not that I needed any more rackets currently but I feel like I should seriously start looking around for possible JS10 alternatives. If there are any at all. [/OT]
I had considered the JPX LTD to be honest. Mostly due to its similarities with the HX900 in terms of specs and frame design. But I realised I didn't really have a need to try it. Plus there was the horrendous short handle.. Sent from my LG-H990 using Tapatalk
You can check at mizuno thread bro. I will post again the specs just for u. As for the review, i had post mine. You may check my historical posts.
Well. As is, I'm already stocking up on all the older racket I can find that I enjoy using most. I'm actually considering changing over to the Astrox 77 if no issues arise over the next 6 months of use. Sent from my LG-H990 using Tapatalk
FYI. 16.5 cm is the handle length from bottom to bottom-edge of the cone and 20.5 cm to top-edge. How about Victor and Yonex?
For comparison: Bottom to bottom-edge of Cone JPX LTD 16.5 BS LYD 16.5 NR900NC 17.0 Bottom to top-edge of Cone JPX LTD 20.5 BS LYD 20.0 NR900NC 20.5 The difference isn't that big. Is there a racket with grip length longer than the list above?
NR900 only half a cm longer? That's impossible. I don't suppose you have AN ARC11 on hand do you. I can't measure mine because it's covered by towel grip. Sent from my LG-H990 using Tapatalk
I don't have ARC11 any more now haha. My friend measured it with a good precision. He opened the grip and measure the length.
I don't doubt your friend. But the numbers don't make sense to me. Definitely not what I've felt in hand from memory owning the grey one before at least. Sent from my LG-H990 using Tapatalk
Here is one of my K9900 after six months of 33/34: Aside from the slotted grommets I wouldn't know it had been strung. They CAN make a strong frame... wtf is going on with these Jetspeeds, then?
Ive got a tk9900 also and you can just tell by holding and touching it that its very strong. I have had a few racket clashes already and not even a scratch on the paintwork.
