I certainly hope your prediction is wrong, otherwise world badminton will become too one-country dominated. Already China has created the fear that the Olympics will not feature badminton in their future program if China can win every single title, leaving none for other countries! :crying:
I am not optimistic about China's chances to win all the titles although they stand a chance . The competition in XD, MD and MS is open and tough, no country is dominating in all these events which makes the competition interesting. To emerge as the world champion, the players have to show their mettle and Victory certainly does not come easy, so even if China claims all titles, the winners well deserve them.
For me, the favourites tag is attributed as follows: MS - China 50% through Lin Dan, Indonesia 50% through Taufik Can't see anyone else winning it with these two around WS - China 100% It's only a matter of who, but it's very likely to be Zhang Ning MD - Indonesia 60% through Candra/Sigit, China 30% Fu/Cai, Denmark 10% Luluk/Alven possibly have a chance; besides that can't see other winners WD - China 100% Yang/Zhang most likely, Gao/Huang can spoil it, watch out for Zhang/Zhang XD - England 50%, China 40%, Thailand 10% Can't see the Danes having a chance here.
