as far as i know, it's subsidized, much like most unpopular sports in canada...it gets little funding...other than a fast track grant..which is basically 2k...most of it does come out of our own pockets...for coaches, for court time etc...but they do coach to earn their own money...Andrew Dabeka coaches at the RA where i play at when he is around...or he's training...but, it's super hard to be an athlete in canada unless you're into hockey, curling or laccross...in that order ;)

if KKK can reduce his fancy play and TBH can execute his deadly, powerful baseline smashes, i'll put my money on them to win.

The title here is talking about MD; LCW shld be excluded frm that ranks dudes..:)
OKAY.. I am thrilled with KKK/TBH plays... but do u really fink evy 1 frm MAS team will follow LCW's trails & get great results ? I am doubt about it..
I support MAS team since their famous winning in TC1992.. But They even cant repeat the same feat in TC since then . not to say any champs in World Cup... I cant remmember which year when MAS host the TC.. Most of MAS press/fans talk about they can win back the cup in their home ground.. But at the end.. They cant even get into SF...
Same might happened for MAS MD in this year WC as well.. When Most of us believe KKK/TBH will strike back & prevent the might Feng Yun for the prestigous back to back World title.. They certainly WILL Have the chance to disappointed MAS fans once again...!

lolz i do XD...just not good enough ahaha...you either pick one thing right...and i made my choice :D:D KKK/TBH may win the SS Finals...but WC...there will be too many factors to count in to consider them a better contender than others...for example...they could end up in a draw against their own countrymen and end up being eliminated themselves...but that's the risk with everyone ;)

i think CTF/LWW have the chance to be a 1st tier darkhorse since most of the people here are passing them by...

By looking at up-to-date performance, and no assumption into the future...

Can anyone honestly doubt the fact that Fu/Cai is the pair which has the highest possibility of winning? Seriously, while most teams are either declining, or in bad form... who is out there capable of challenging the very competent and consistent Fu/Cai at the moment? Nobody!

Agree. It's hard to figure out who can beat Roger Federer on grass and who can beat LD... Hopefully Fu/Cai and LD have off days during the WC and Msia team can capitalise and enroute to win the titles (sorry, biased again :p)

    Msia Boleh...!!!

TBH hands down. He was usually an underdog, finally we expect him to win =]

In the China Masters MD events, the koreans, danes (ML/JE & Paske/Rasmussen), TG/CW and KKK/TBH did not participate. Fu/Cai are good, but how good they really are?. My feeling is, only the koreans and TG/CW can really challange Fu/Cai now.

Fu/Cai have quite a winning record against the Koreans this year without one single loss. Tong/Candra are definitely on a decline as age goes by. Fu/cai also have defeated all the top Malaysian doubles as well in the last few months.

With their recent improvement, Fu/Cai are at this point definitely the best Men doubles pair today, and there is no denying about it.

I think their play so far in the Philippines Open is very ecnouraging. I think they are coming back. With Rexy, the master coach, it will be 'no hot air' when he said he will get them ready to win the WC. I have total trust in what he said.

Imagine Malaysia wins MD and MS in WC. It will be a national holiday for sure!

Over Celebrations may cost too mch for MAS.. Even they are to be crowned Wordl champs.. They still need to win an OG Gold to consolidate their dominant !
