    <yawn> And "KKK/TBH..comeback trail?" thread. It's the usual 'have not won WC, OG or AE'. Of course SS finals is 'minor' tournament & sthing abt KKK/TBH being "fluke shots" &"village champion mindset". Those who have around long enuf will know.:p

    Oops, was it the one that you made a bet with pemuda on how many SS titles LCW, KKK/TBH can win in 2009;)

    Ohhhh....

    I will reserve my judging :) .. . relax, I'm not in favor of the 'MUST' population this time... I think I like the word 'GOTTA' more;)...

    well, you gotta see who's planted the word first... or rather why some thinks MAS players must win... I believe it's just what the some's (who uses 'must') expectations. Of course, there are also possibilities of the others below 10-ranked players beating the no-gunners ;)from MAS... it just talks of expectation (or rather expecting too much... sorry guys... I still think the SSF is kinda blurry...:eek:)

    as this is the final big tournament for year 2009.
    let us see the outcome from MAS players, we already have a thread on Super Series Master Final's dissatisfaction.
    kindly poll base on your opinion towards their current/past performance.

    They are coming out of the woodwork in droves ....

    I am amazed to see numerous Boleh fans kicking up a fuss. They are tearing, kicking, scratching, ranting and all ... :D

    For the life of me, I cannot understand why & how they equate this thread to 'have not won WC, OG or AE etc etc'. I will re-produce what I wrote at the start of this thread below;

    What has this thread gotta do with LCW not having any major titles? Or about KKK/TBH's comeback?:eek:

    I have said it numerous times, this thread is not about LCW not having any majors. My stand remains; a WR1 without any majors is pretty shallow. This thread is also not about KKK/TBH's previous AE win or etc.

    This thread is about our WR1s, LCW in the MS & KKK/TBH in the MD and CEH/WPT (former WR1) in WD playing in the SSF against a weakened field with the advantage of thousands of Boleh fans thumping their chests and all. With a weakened field & home support, they must win.

    Some say, our shuttlers will be under pressure in the SSF. They say let the players play their own game, win or lose dont matter :eek:. Yes, the SSF is not a big trophy. BUT the shuttlers are representing our national colours, you just dont do things half hearted when you are representing the nation. Whether it is a big tourney or a Donald Duck challenge trophy, if you are representing your country, you should leave the typical tidak apa attitude at the doorstep. The SSF is an international tournament, there are bound to be pressure. Plus the shuttlers are looking at a USD40k winner's cheque. This is a competition, not a charity do with Aznil Nawawi or some Raja Lawak event. If our shuttlers dont want pressure, then they should take part in the Nilai Memorial Park Open. There will be no pressure there for sure.
