What's up B? Sure we can play. Tell Sam to come on over too.

Just let me know when and I can be there.

so what will happen to SGVBC?? I've been to this club numerous times and it is pretty close to ABC .... would SGVBC members migrate to the new facility?? just curious what will happen .... but having more gyms is definitely good for US badminton.

also the pictures look like smash city .... except the tile-flooring .... :)

Does it have A/C and heating

Just wondering if anyone knows whether this facility will be air conditioned and heated. It would be great if it were.

    what will happen to sgvbc

sgvbc will definitely have some things to think about once abc opens, for one, cleaning up the gym and 2 CLEANING UP THE GYM.

A few people have been thinking "whats going to happen?" Hopefully the two gyms will drive each other to be the best gym, and in turn that will attract more attention and popularity to our sport. I find the only thing that sgvbc has over abc right now is hours of operation. dont get me wrong i enjoy playing at sgvbc as much as any one else maybe even more (im not a member and i shell out $7 each time i play there) but i really think abc is the kick in the pants sgvbc needs to "get their act together."

Update: yesterday we (XFlubb, Xiao Hou, John, Gene, William/ABC and I) tested one of the courts.

The flooring is very nice. It feels very good as my knees didn't ache at all. It was easy to adapt to the surroundings and the contrast is good.

They are still working on the lighting.

    So far, so good. :D

i was there on tuesday and saw quite a lot of people i normally see at sgvbc on tuesdays... didn't like how the lights were being overhead... but i do like the surface a lot.

i also hope that this will force sgvbc to improve the conditions at their facility because i really think a lot of people will switch over.

i think both clubs can survive independently of each other and i intend to play at both but will probably keep my membership at sgvbc for now.

anyways here's the another pic of the club but with people already playing:
