2009 India Open: It would be harder for TH to defeat LCW this time

    .
Now that LCW has regained his confidence, after having defeated LD and TH (twice) over the last 2 weeks, it would be harder for TH to win the MS title at this 2009 India Open.

But we should still expect a TH-vs-LCW Finals here.

2009 India Open: Expect WK-vs-LCW in Round 3

    .
The new talent in MS is [IMG][CHN] Kai WEN
He would probably face LCW in Round 3.

And possible opponent for TH at semifinal is Nguyen Tien Minh, a dangerous Vietnamese player. Barring any upset, looking forward to third encounter of LCW-TH in one month...

Nahhh...... Taufik is a smart player. I think the reason why he fair better in the Swiss open against LCW is because he pick up on the strategy that LCW used in the AE. So I think there is a good chance for him to actually beat LCW.

Aha. It would not be easy for either LCW or TH. In fact, with all these Chinese young men around, getting in to India Open final may be harder than getting into, say, semi-final of any SS event.

    ^^Ahh..^^

..ahh, don't you worry, with all those youngsters in the way, we'll most likely still see a TH vs. LCW matchup in the Final...;)

Fans can wish, can hope, can expect a TH-LCW finals...CHN MS and WS players, I always say, are tough customers, well prepared and trained....world ranking means nothing much as they do not participate enough to gather ranking points....privilede to represent CHN which has a huge baddy population base to pick from and with these players eager to establish themselves and what better bragging rights than to knock off the 2 high profile players in the world to solidy a spot on CHN team, I would say anything can happen to deny a TH-LCW final...just look at WYH and JYJ, what are their WR and how did they do in recent tourneys? they played giant killers knocking off one top player after another...making CHN team is far harder than to win a SS...remember promising Chen LI in CHN WS, she played one tourney and gone, what does that tell you about CHN competitiveness..if CHN player pull a stunt like HH, he/she can kiss baddy career bye bye and go sell kachang puteh or fried chow-kwei-teow:p:D

WYH and JYJ are miles ahead of their MS counterparts. None of the second tier CHN MS players have had much of a chance to show their stuff due to the dominance of the current stock of first tier players (LD, BCL, CJ). Of note though, GWJ has made more of his opportunities lately.

How old are these 2nd tier MS from china? I think GWJ is 22 and CL is not even 20 yet, but dunno about the rest.
