Wow, the reels from cart100 are $50 cheaper than buying 20 individual packs from MBS; with the shipping costs included it's still cheaper. And you can save even more string by doing 1-pc stringing.
Really worth considering, although they are not yellow.

I have no idea how to order from there, though, and Google won't seem to translate the page.

But ye gods - $55 pre reel, and dial in the one-piece bonus savings... any Chinese speakers fancy a multiple order? Please!?:D

Edit - try this. Shipping will be slow if you go for small air, but who cares? $60-odd per reel in the end.

amleto able to help out or do you only know swear words? Assuming I'm not mixing up my languages and making assumptions about who speaks what.

40 quid a reel has to be worth it. I'd be tempted by a group UK order but not just now. dbswansea too?

I already tested a multiple order - nothing is saved by combining into one shipment. But as you say, 40-odd quid a reel isn't to be sniffed at, even if it takes two ice-ages to get here. I've got nine or ten rackets left on my reel, so I might order one at Christmas - we might slow down, but they don't.

Just steer clear of January!

I just got one - may just be me, but I think the coating has been beefed up a bit.

Same belting feel, though.

Ah if that is true, that would be amazing! I constantly had the problem of the fragile coating stripping just from the synching of the tie off knot.

I loved playing with the string, but it was such a hassle to string up.

That's very tempting. The fragile coating and how fast this string loses its feel were the only downsides.

I'm running it at 32/34 these days - with prestetch - and while the little nicks can still be found, there definitely are not as many.

Haven't broken any yet from the new reel.

What about the feeling? When I've used it in the past I had to cut it after 2 weeks at the latest, because it felt horrible. But when it's fresh - so good... :D

I didn't notice any difference, to be honest; I don't think they've done anything too drastic.

I really want to cadge some VS890 from the All England - if anybody brings any - and try it against this stuff... it was glorious for the hour it lasted me!

Guess who joined the Gosen club?

I got yesterday RX110 in white, yellow, light purple and light blue as a present + some Gosen socks. Can't decided which color I should pick first. Mark A Any thoughts? ;)

Light blue is the most fragile, imo, yellow and white are about the same.

My first thought is "where the hell did you get non-white 110?", actually...

My brother visited the family of his GF in HK. He told me that there is a small Badminton store around the corner. I told him to pick one set RX110. He don't play badminton so he wasn't sure which color and bought all 4 to surprise me.

So the guy who spent a year waiting for it to come back into stock - me - gets his arse handed to him by the guy who had no idea what he was buying.

FML:D.
