I would if they were available. Plus I'm getting 110 at 4.6 USD a packet! Do I really NEED anything else?

If I remember correctly R4X110 loses its spice even faster than Aerosonic or Ultimax. :(

IAS feels very soft the next day for some reason or atleast packets I've had have been like that at sane tensions. Only ones didn't were AS at 34 which lasted like 2.5 hours or so. Never saw even one full session let alone next day. But it sounded so darn incredible that I didn't care till those insanely high grommet costs added up on top of every AS packet costing almost TWICE the amount of 80!

I'm definitely going to give R4X110 and No.1 hybrid a go once and see how that fares. Unless I'm wrong (high probability) Duckfeet had a go with this setup after taking inspiration from Charlie's 80/no.1 setup. It'll probably ruin the feel a bit but we'll see.

Let us know how R4X 110/No.1 plays at those tensions, don't think Duckfeet went that high with it.

Tried Gosen R4X110 on my Li Ning N7ii @ 29lbs.
    Had a direct comparison with Gtone9 on my Li Ning N7ii @29lbs + 10% Pre-stretch.
Both freshly strung by the same stringer.

    Conclusion:
Feel: R4X110 > Gtone-9. Very very sharp feel, much similar to BG80
Tension retention: R4X110 > Gtone-9. Even with pre-stretch, the tension drop with Gtone-9 is still worse than the R4X110 without PS
Repulsion: R4X110 = Gtone-9. No significant difference. both felt great, and could deliver powerful smashes if hit right.
Sound: Gtone-9 > R4X110. Sound wise, Gtone-9 edged out a little bit. Sounds louder. Both strings had a nice metal sound.
Durability: only played 3 sessions with both rackets. will see how R4X110 last. my first Gtone-9 29lbs lasted 3+ months, and i decided to cut it due to bad tension retention.

As of now, I think R4X110 will be my new go to string. VERY SATISFIED!

How on earth did it survive that long at 29 lbs? Was I profoundly unlucky to have almost broken it within a week?

I think I'd only spent about 8 hours on court with it.

Correct. Very pleasant at 24*26 but r4x frayed and snapped while LN1 showed barely any signs of wear.

Tried to grab as many as I could for one shot but they kept falling. Fresh from the factory to me. No pricing, no tags or anything else. :p

R4X110 29lbs on Li Ning N7ii after ~10hrs of usage (3 weeks,*2-3 sessions per week), crazy fraying seen.

Gtone9 still look as good as new, both strings strung at the same time, with similar usage hours.

Let's see how long more can the R4X110 last with such fraying...

First R4X110 29lbs lasted 1.5 month (2 sessions per week, around 1 hr usage average per session).

Have a 2nd go with R4X110 at 30lbs. And I have double confirmed that it will be my favourite string.

The sound, the feel, the repulsion, the tension retention. everything is just perfect. The only downside is extreme fraying after 4-5 sessions, but i guess i'll live with that as the price is almost half of what i pay for BG80 here!
