Holland at full strength would have gone through, although they would be relying on two imports.

Japan finally won 3-2 against Taiwan.

Rubber game. 14-12 Korean serving, but the score has been stuck like that for quite some time already. I suspect the Koreans have already won, but the website is in a state of denial.

Denmark beats Holland by a whisker.
Confirm, Korea won the 1st doubles. So 3-1 to Korea

    Semifinals
    China vs Japan
    Denmark vs Korea

We may as well hand the Uber Cup to China now.

Unfortunately Jo/Lita couldn't contribute to the team. They lost to the Korean 15-12 in the rubber set. I thought Jo/Lita would make it in the third set, but well....the Koreans were really good. They did few mistakes while Jo/Lita tried hard to find their weaknesses, but couldnt find any.... It was a good match though. I held my breath most of the time coz the tense was soooo high. Many long drives occured and shocking strokes were here and there. Could here some women shrieked so loudly in the stadium. Phew.... no dissappointment tho lost.

Now, I really hope much on Indos TC team!

    GO INDONESIA!

    Where is Gade ?

If Jonassen is playing 1st singles for Denmark - is that because Gade is injured or are they just allowing him to save his strength for the semi-final?

Who knows this early on, maybe they'll do a WCH and play him in doubles ;)

    All seems back to plan,

    Lee Hyun Il 13-12
    WCH 13-10
Lin 11-8 (was as bad as 4-8 that I saw)
    Jonassen 15-9
