So you really got a place big enough to hold all of us too, eh? Oh, I forgot, Australia is big country and therefore land is relatively cheap. Did you get the OK from mom? ;)

Hope Perth is pretty active in badminton so that they can stage an international event there soon. Maybe you can start something? :)

Question is who can really do the Banner or is kwun bringing it all the way from California?

If not, we'll have to find a substitute like foldable flash cards. Any volunteers?

It's a big piece of manila card stiched together or 1 piece by it self with big wordings for people down there to see. You know kinda like the ones I LOVE YOU NICK or something you see at concerts.

And Loh : Nah don't worry about crashing over mom will say sure why not :D

Lots of thanks, jump_smash. Please keep us posted on the 2005 WA International. I will start saving for that occasion but at least we'll be able to enjoy free accommodation, right FEND?

One thing, how come the WA Int'l is for only 3 days?

Hi kwun & BFers gathering at the SO,

I just received a call from a "crafty old folk" from Brisbane, a Malaysian from Sabah, who will be coming over on 13th right through 21st, to watch the SO. He knows that kwun will be here and he promised to bring a "very, very unique and special gift" for him. He was sure kwum will fall head over heels when he sees it.

I ask this new-found friend whether he can bring 'something' for our other BFers gathered at the SO and he said he will try his level best.

Our friend from Brisbane just played a number of friendly matches at the Gold Coast Masters and he came to know someone in his 40's who is directly involved in the badminton industry in China. So make your guesses.

And kwun, make sure you show up in good time so as not to dissappoint our man from Down Under!

Something Priceless as Kwun has mentioned in his other thread.

By the way guys, I have contacted the SBA whether we could rent their courts on Sat, 20 Nov for our badminton bash. Unfortunately, he told me that Sat mornings are for National Team training. :( :crying: :crying:

Wonder who can help to book at least two courts for two hours each from any of the CC Sports Halls for that particular morning, preferable from 9 or 10 am. Please HELP so that all BFers in Singapore can meet together to have some fun games! PM me if necessary!

    Disappointing POLL

I'm so sad to note from the Poll that as of now, 24 BFers can't join us for whatever reasons and this number is more than those who have confirmed their attendance.

If you are from Singapore, you should try your best to watch the Singapore Open live. We can be assured of top-class rivalry and the skills and tactics of the players are certainly way above what we normally see. Watching live is very different from just watching TV. The atmosphere is completely different and this time round it is our turn, the BC.com group, which will be creating the scenes at the SIS. With your support, it will definitely be much more successful and enjoyable! :D :D :D

Change your mind and come an join us! :p

dear Loh, don't be sad. none of the 24 BF'er who clicked NO resides in Singapore. those responders are ppl who live far away as canada, europe, and other parts of the world...

all Singapore BF'ers please consider joining us in the Singapore Open and let us know. remember, i will be giving away free BC t-shirts to 10 randomly picked members who PMs me notifying of their attendance. and then Han is giving away free 2004 Singapore Open DVDs to anybody who give me their name during the Singapore Open.

    Hi Extremesmash

    Thanks for showing an interest.

No I don't even know where Arctic shop is. ;) My pic (and HP no.) is shown in this thread for all to identify me should they want to meet the BC group at the SIS (S'pore Indoor Stadium, Kallang) durint the SO (Spore Open).

I'm sorry that you are not sure of the abbreviations. It is quite understandable as you are probably very new here and are not quite used to the BadmintonCentral.com (BC) culture. Members of this forum, Badminton Forum (BF), are known as BFers. You are one of us now. Welcome aboard! :) Join us for the Fun Game and be a member of our cheer group at the SO semifinals and finals! :D :D :D
