I'm taking private lessons from Sajjad Malik, so I just book the coach whenever he is avalable.

Unexpectedly got a chance to play yesterday thanks to some hookups from my coach. Courts are extremely nice. They even have nice benches all around the courts, which is just very classy. They have a shop with a shoes, racquets and clothing.

BTW I saw the coach that used to be at Lee's, I can't remember her name but she won Silver at OG2004 with Yang Wei.

OMG they were so packed Saturday morning! 'o' Wish I coulda gone on Sunday cuz it seems most of you went then.

We got to the parking lot and was I like...
"hmm this looks fresh... decals on the windows..."

    then it was like "woah..."
when i got in the front door with the reception area and the display case, and the glass doors to the courts...

    then i was like "OMGWTFBBQ!!"
when i saw the floor2ceiling glass windows and the wall paintings and the huge court area... (byebye community centre with low hanging basketball nets :p) Whoever the interior designer is really did a wonderful job...

lol they even have bubble tea and cheesy dip nachos :D

it is really nicely done, except lighting on a few particular court was a bit less then ideal, but overall its a big thumbs up. The big question is, why all these dedicated badminton clubs seems to adore the idea of Nano tech changing room......

If it was 80 bucks a year for a full membership then pretty much every badminton club that runs in high schools and community centre will go out of business immediately
besides they have a whole bunch of different packages, u and him is most likley looking at 2 different thing

ok so, just to make sure I wasnt losing my mind, I called them again to confirm...

theyve decided to revamp their membership package in response to the feedback they got over the weekend.
instead of 'pay $600 bucks a year +initiation for membership to wait your turn for 2 hours ', its 'pay as you play'

its 70 bucks a year for a 'college' membership. dont know about the other age groups. with membership you get to use the gym and book courts by the hour. non-members can play for $3 each when with members. court rental pricing depends on the time of day. (cant find the piece of paper i wrote the pricing on)

so i'm not shelling out every month anymore even when i'm in HK for the summer, or when i'm crammin for exams...

    Dutch player

    Hi guys,

I'm a Dutch badmintonplayer and I'm staying here in Toronto for 4 months and want to continue playing. In Holland I train 3 times a week and I was hoping to meet some competitive players here.
Can you just drop-in and pay only for a one day just to try? (I saw that Lee's got a Questmember option)
I think I will be going to FlyingDragon on Sunday...

i jsut went there agian today to check new membership thingy. omg i like the old one's better. i looks cheaper on the new one but if u play more it's a lot more expensive. Juniors is $60 membership fee. then $12-$24 an hour depending on the time u book the court.
