Membership would be comparable to other clubs maybe a less expensive the first couple of years. As far as lessons, its not what you pay it's how hard you are willing to train with a good coach.

This name, in my opinion, is too Asian oriented. Maybe something like flying horse would be more welcoming.

That Googlemap satellite picture has a road with no buildings >.>

Either it's outdated, or we're gonna be playing in the middle of a field ^_^

Well, Mandarin has a very Asian name and they're doing well for themselves. Although Lee is also a caucasian last name, it can be considered an Asian name too (and in this case it is, after Jennifer Lee).

It's a matter of demographics. Richmond Hill is a very Asian community. Both Lee's and Mandarin has a majority Chinese clientele, and they're in Markham, right beside RHill. I wouldnt sell English tea and crumpets in China town... I'd sell Chinese food ^^

Personally I'm more interested in the service and atmosphere. It's not about pricing. Well, at least I wouldnt mind paying a extra $20 bucks a month for better service. Personally I'm fed up with the politics at Lee's. My friends said Mandarin's isnt much better, although I've never been there myself. Hope the folks at FDBC read this post )

I drove around Vogell Road and couldn't find anything that resembled a badminton club....i even drove into each industrial park. :crying:

A street address is definately needed not a general area.

The address is unit #3 of 30 Vogell. I was there this afternoon. The place is almost ready & I would say in 1-2 weeks times.

I think they are going to be opened in 1-2 weeks time, hopefully before May. Last time I was there, it was also completed.
Hopefully they don't need white attaire on court ,outside foods & eating are allowed, extended play times, double games per play all the times, nice friendly coaching staffs, professional & pretty store clerks, better annual fee, free trial, free initiations etc.

saw their ad on today's MingPao...
they will have open house on April 28&29, 10am-10pm. It says $10 per hour per court rental so it's cheap (consider 4 ppl plays 2 hours = $5 each)
website is: www.flyingdragonbadmintonclub.com (but only the ad's page)
