Did Yonex specifically say when exactly in June 2014 they will release the Nanoray 900? Like early, middle or end of the month?

And any ideas of the RRP? I know someone did mention the price before in an article, but I find it hard to believe it costs more than RM 1000+....

Official release date quoted 6th June 2014 for Aus as I said before.
    See (http://www.proracquets.com.au/bedminton-racquets/10160-yonex-nanoray-900.html)
It says on one of the banners on the home page.
Price is $229+10 shipping AUD inc stringing/string

if I'm not wrong, this is about 683 RM?

Yes. So assuming the Malaysia pricing would be around RM 749.00 (around Arc 11 RRP). With 30% discount by sellers, that would make.... about RM 525.

All the high end Yonex racquets in Australia are $200 roughly (my ARC11 was 195 frame only and ZF2 190 frame only)
The $229 for pre-order is accounting for string/ing $7-8/$15 comes with a free dz shuttles.

    30% discount? thats alot

I don't think it will be having rrp less than rm 799.90. Can't be lower than Nr 800. Everyone get ur cash ready. Buy buy buy.

Well, Arc 10 was selling at RM 929.00. Then Arc 11 went lower at about RM 749.00. So I don't see why not? :D

those were evil empire glory days (anyone still calling it that way, I wonder). it kept pushing its RRP up to sky from the days of MP and AT until the army of BSes and MXes brought the empire to its knees. I guess that's the same reason we have round and round of sunrise sale for the bashed up products. From Arc10 to Arc11 is exactly the onslaught period.

but the way, im not sure arc11 rpp is rm749.90....isn't it rm799.90? top of line, not that bad yet.

and nrzs is first one breaching over rm799.90 since decline with exception of limited(not so limited)/player edition. japan just took the cup. mr. yoneyama may change his mind and offer this piece at rm99.90:D

MYR is more valuable again these days compared to JPY then at the time of ARC10 ;) (/JPY is cheap compared to a lot of currencies nowadays ... wonder why not reflected in the price here [IMG][IMG] RRP is only going up)

the XE could be one of the reasons. but I would think the one who hit it hardest especially in SP region would be the emergence of brand V. at that point, Korean moved over, won the fanboys. V's BS (anyone not tried that, please get one, do yourself a justice), the supercharged head, won over the enthusiasts. and the killing, the first batch of pros endorsed V went to market here at around RM350 against say, a arcs10 of RM650. to make it worse here, many doing parallel import of TW/CN coded V. Even now, when the authorised product prices of V gone higher than the Y, we still get a 'not so latest' top of line V, at RM450 max.

My personal feeling, I think it will be long long time before Y can price their stuff again at RM929.90.

anyway, back to the NR900, when it is here:D?

At the moment, I'm happy with my one and only Arc 11. Always want to own a Nanoray. Maybe will think about this one. Good for me when playing in doubles most of the time.

Great doubles weapon imo. Well at least for MD, I switch between that and the ZF2 but 80% use ARC11.

On the YY matrix, ARC11 and NR900 are similar in head-balance (even-ish) apart from being on the opposite sides for Control (Arc11) vs Repulsion (NR900)

From what I understand the big selling point for the NR900 is the drop/cut smash or whatever being a result of how they changed the head shape...
    wonder how it'll play.

will get my hands on one next week.

The design on the NR900 isn't as attractive as NR Z-Speed and NR800. Would like to see future NR lineup to be more outstanding.

I did have a look at a mates NRZSP and the orange does look rather impressive. Strung with 80P in Orange makes a good color combo.

I don't think the NR800 looks that good imo and the NR900 probably looks similar and average by my opinion.

Yonex should offer custom designs already.
