First session - defends and drives fantastically, but lacks a bit of clout. Might need a swing adjustment on my part.

The "angle"... angle... seems to ring true, though - I was dragging a lot of smashes down into the net!

    Guys,

I have no idea why so many people out there keep saying that this racket has no power. When i used it, this racket provides plenty of power, control and feel. Is there any other alternative racket for this? NR900 is kinda hard to find now since its being phased out

The closest you can go is Nanoflare 700 4u red.
Nanoflare 800 is complete different beast.

The 800 is balance racket with very stiff shaft and compact frame; very fast racket on drive and haft smash but lack the 'satisfying feeling' when you do full swing smash (or maybe my hand is not strong enough to bend it).
Its sweetspot is kinda small, which makes it quite unforgiving racket when combining with the stiffness.
Good racket for players with attacking mind.

On the other hand, the 700 is a user-friendly racket. Big frame (sr I forgot the name...), a bit less stiff , a tad more head-heavy than 800, and especially the "damped feeling" (less vibration) which is a big boost in defense. Smashing gives similar feeling to the nanoray900.
All round racket for players with some cash in their pockets (very fragile racket, worst p/p on my racket list).

Take my words with a handful of salt.
Best if you could borrow from other playmates to try.

Maybe Li-Ning BladeX 700 is the closest racket to NR 900
