I heard it's the best match of the yr??..

    heart attacks anyone??..;)

wow, it is so difficult to reach the Finals Rd. 2 yrs in a row, yet the KORs have done so and were just inches away from winning it all..Personally, and not to take away anything from the Chinese, but i thought Cai Yun & FHF got just a bit lucky this yr by not having to possibly face the INA top MD pair..They took the advantage & here they are..

So, only 2 teams managed to take home the hardware...wow..

My hope next yr is all the top MD pairs will be back, even with the newly formed partnership of Kido or Setiawan..

2 x WC, 2 X AE. I think CY and FHY must feel so satisfied with their careers right now. They know they have fully realised their potential and although they have suffered some hard defeats in finals in the past, they will be more than happy with their CV to date. Sure, they lost in the OG final, but they both knew in their heart of hearts that they lost to the better pair, which is why they both looked so happy and content to have won the Olympic silver medal.

i was jumping up from my seat since the score was like 18 or so....and when i got exhausted from jumping the match haven't ended!! So many desperate dives...and both pairs displayed just how much they wanted to win...

i wonder if jung can fall asleep tonight....

Well, although I am a big CHN fan, in my opinion the best MD pair in the world today didn't participate at these World Championships.

I think FHF and CY know deep down that they are second to MK/HS, which is why the Chinese do not regret coming away with OE silver medal.

But now THAT pair's ability is in question now...... unless MK/HS can comeback in the next few SS it will be tough in this competitive MD department

Yeah. Total embarassment to other nations if that happens and it almosts happens looking in the hindsight. We are indebted to Denmark in this sense.

cai yun was bold at the net today. he needs someone like setiawan to challenge his dominance up front

and fortunately today fu didn't crack even when he was aimed

yeh, i know MK/HS had their problems of late, so actually I shouldn't have said "best team right now" because that's ignoring FORM.

I suppose I meant to say, if every pair played at their very best and maxed out, MK/HS are the best MD pair in the world. So I was just speaking in the purest sense of "best pair in the world today" Anyway, the 08 Olympics really did confirm who are the best and 2nd best MD pairs in the world in my opinion :)

In future, there may or may not be MK/Hendra pairing anymore. The INA fans have been saying, with Kido's knees & noq high blood pressure, maybe Hendra S need new partner. By then, the equation changes again.

..wow, i totally missed the exciting WD match...totally crashed out while watching the 2nd game when the Juniors were leading....congrats to ZTT & ZYW..
..not everyone lah:p..Some of us predicted some of the winners also..I, myself, predicted 3 out of 5 correct..I didn't expect the INA XD pair to have such a melt down and lost in 2 games..
..after seeing the scoreboard, i thought both pairs are equal, it really could've gone either way..
