Very interested in this racquet. Does it play closer to a tamed mx80 or stiffer mxjjs?

I'm asking this because I love how mx80 plays but hate mxjjs. So this will determine if I'll buy the mx90.

Hope more reviews will be available soon.

    Thanks.

Guys, besides Paul's upcoming review, hopefully those who have posted photos (& made us salivate) of their racquets could give their own review of the MX90 by now... Just saying on behalf of the hundreds that follow this thread...

Yes, i will have MX90 in my bag for our session next week. I love the racket although I am missing my TK6000. Not sure whether that will return in time.

TK6000 is now back in my safe hands and re-strung at 28lbs in NS880. It's ready for action.

Paul, normally your string tension mentioned is computerised or manually strung? Computer may be 1.5lbs more, I guess.

Dear Paul : As per your email , you mention that a bit stiffer racket will be JJS from BS 12N. I getting another spare racket for my cuurent BS 12N ... Is MX90 quite similar to Bs 12N ?

From JJS, MX 80 to MX90 , which one will be closer to BS 12N ? Thanks

The closest new racket to BS12 N that I know of is BS LHI. Meteor frames are completely different feel and experience. Maybe the new Jetspeed will be close but I won't be testing that until 2014.

If I had to choose a Meteor to get close it would probably be MX60.

Dear Paul. MX 60 , I don't like the feel , If I choose between MX80 and Mx90, which one will be a good choice to upgrade from BS 12N?

Ok, I will have the MX90 next week. will let you guys know what I think.I have recently switched from Yonex to Victor thanks to the bravesword 12. I play doubles at club level in Srilanka.Dont get me wrong ,I am a great fan of the Voltric 80 (like badminton coach Paul Stewart), have used it for a long time. The Bravesword 12 is a great doubles racket especially if you enjoy a fast game ,I feel the only thing it lacks is a bit of racket head stability and that solid feel that you get from the Meteor range like the MX60 which I have just started using and liking (so easy to play with). Anyway until next time.Bye

I hope you like MX90 - I do! My review will go live next week. Sadly I had to delay it for a week but hopefully I'll be back on track very soon.

As you know Paski, I no longer use Yonex products have resigned from Yonex earlier this year. I agreed a contract with Victor who have proved a superb team to be with.

As yet, I haven't chosen a racket because I now have my own bag of demo rackets which has allowed me more time to test and evaluate. I will still test and review other brands on my blog.

I hope you enjoy the MX90 as much as I did.

Hi Paul, Thanks for the reply. I was waiting for your review of the MX90 before I get it, but they seem to be running out quick (3U version) so I ordered it. Unfortunately I don't have a sponsor ,I do it purely out of personal interest and love for the game and have no affiliation with any brand. This means spending out of my own pocket and then I usually keep the ones I like and sell the others at a cheaper price. Currently my favourite racket is the Bravesword 12 (3U). I was concerned whether the MX90 might be a bit too stiff for my liking. Look forward to reading your review on it and trying it out.

Many thanks for the update. I needed to delay my review but it will go live very soon. I really like the racket and rate it as good as JJS.
