    Paul,

A VT80 user here. based on your hands-on playing experience with these rackets, which is the closest to VT80 in terms of playability? is it MX90? TK8000? MX-JJS?

    Thanks.

Vicnard12 that's a tough question because neither really fits the bill. Cloest in terms of head weight wouldbe TK8000 but it's not as stiff in the shaft. Cloest shaft is MX90 but it doesn't have the weight at the top of the head like VT80.

For me VT80 is a faster frame than TK8000 and possibly it's because it's stiffer. So for me I'd try to get closest to the shaft rather than the head weight.

As JJS has been withdrawn, perhaps this gets a look in on the basis it won't be long before they are extremely rare, which is a shame. But MX90 will certainly be a good replacement.

Thanks Paul. I would definitely consider your thoughts on that. Am an avid follower of your blog.

Am caught between the three Victor's lately, and your opinion helps a lot. Looking forward to your written review of MX90 soon. Imma get an MX90 early next year. :D

I thought the racket comparable to VT 80 is MX 80. I thought stiffest racket in the market is MX 80 , correct me if i am wrong ?

Vt80 isn't as stiff as mx 80 and mx80 isn't as heavy as vt80. They aren't really THAT comparable outside of the paint.

    I'd say Z-Force...

    Victor don't make a 5/5 since the SW35.

    Mark,

    Artery TEC Ti-99 Classic
    http://www.victorsport.com.tw/product_detail_14.html

Meteor X 80, and Super Nano 6 (N), are also 5/5 in terms of stiffness rate, but considered to be less head heavier compared to SW35 and Ti-99.

Just received mx 90 3U version today. Just had few swings and it feels faster than JJS but not as fast as LYD. All 3U versions.
Racket bag I got is pink/purple ..don't really care.. But..aargh
    Will try it out tomorrow

I'm not a fan of these cloth racket bags. They are not popular in UK and 99% of rackets arrive with a decent cover.

Downunder I hope you enjoy MX90 as much as I did.

I think what Paul say is right. In Victor Home page , they had remove JJS in the MX series, MX 90 has replace it. In term of smashes MX 80 i believe is stronger than JJS, swing speed should be JJS. Wait for Paul's review on MX 90 , we will see the full picture..

Dont just rely on Paul's reviews. Sure they're great but we all have different perspectives. You keep commenting about rackets like you have tried them all. o_O

Sorry for the delay in my review of MX90. You don't need excuses why but it will be live by Thursday.

I'm interested in this one - if I had to compare/contrast this to the JJS, I wouldn't know where to start.
