Good for China on their home soil, though a bit annoyed there were loudspeakers going off during the rallies. Nevertheless, an impressive SF win from the dead against Japan (MD) and a relatively comfortable (not super easy, not super hard) victory over Korea in the Finals. Loving the team spirit. Everyone involved put all their heart and soul into this event. Truly a joy to watch all the close matches that went on in this event.

Usually the player would have crumbled already and couldn't even move much around the court

I agree. One very important trait that most top china players exhibit is mental strength. To never give up and keep trying to turn the game ard, giving their very best up till the end.

Is there something (romantic) going on between these two, or is it just a fun thing they do as teammates?

    Well, boring final...

Japan Korea would have been a better final for the overall spectators imo.

Congrats to China who hold their nerve way better than row.
They have been shaky but Japan MD feared winning, also Korea MX was near the win with 19:16 in second set but faltered. Then the final could have been more interesting.

They are a couple. They did it before in 2019/2021 when they stand alongside each other in the podium

What do you mean why? Isnt obvious?
Pressure from carrying the fate of their country
    Look at FukuHiro yesterday
Look at Momota in 2019 Sudirman Cup
Look at Huang Yaqiong/Lu Kai in 2017

None of them managed to even get any game point (if I remember correctly)

    I guess so :D

But my dream that 'none of the major trophies resides in China' has just been demolished. It would be a scene to see this for the first time ever

CYF was definitely gassed, exhausted. Every little break she took (towel down, racket string breaking), added to the strength of the crowd and teammate's support, which helped her regain her on court composure and plays. I dare say that ASY and coaches probably thought they could grind it out and take their time to wear down CYF, but were often caught offguard by CYF's explosiveness due to sheer willpower. That sort of mentality proved to be the incorrect one.

Hopefully, from this loss, ASY and other players with a similar playstyle will learn to pick up on those signs and keep their level up when an opponent is gassing out, and not (hope to) coast to a game 3.

Hmmm.... Imo that's the weight to bear being the top ws for korea...addtionally there many tie breaker matches in past team tournaments too.. so why some din Crumble but some.did...i guess it boil bk to personality and ability.to handle pressure....
