I think Lin Dan will indeed play in the finals, because even today Chen Long was shaky at many points. Chen Long takes a lot of stress when the team responsibility comes on him.

I wonder how he will act in Olympics. The feeling in Olympics is also a large part about your team and country.

    My guess for tomorrow's lineup:
    XD: Zhang/ZHao
    WS: Li Xuerui
    MS: Lin Dan
    WD: Ma Jin/Tang Yuangting
    MD: Chai/Hong (???)

Mostly agree, with a possibility for other combo in MD: Zhang Nan/Fu Haifeng

Agree as ZN can play tomorrow..
CB/HW are unpredictables and don't forget they can't handle pressure that well.
We aren't going to the wire thats sure hence ZN should be fielded. And this will be a reality check for CHN MD..
Also this can decide whether to allow ZN in MD or not..
Anyways it'll be 3-0 but on a positive note expecting a 3-1 victory for host. As they'll be crowned for a record 10th time

I am surprised to see Zhang nan play instead of Cai yun. Yes i think Lee Yong bo going for the win , Zhang nan is a better player than cai yun now. And Lin dan taking the place of Chen Long , also surprised as Chen Long plays well in yesterday's game, i thought he would continue play in final. Yu yang is drop replace by Ma Jin.

Those Chinese coaches do see the very urgency to field their most lethal line-up under current resources in the final...putting away any thinking for some kind of experiment or any nostalgic replay of the past glory.

They simply march on with the most effective placement they are able to. They really wanna avoid the sore ass of losing like faced by Korea yesterday of playing KHN (then how desperate the KOR coach was when he had to to instruct KSY to play in the front court and let KHN in the backcourt, they must curse their wrong choice).

Zhang/Fu over Chai/Hong... experience and composure result in the reliability, it's the key consideration here

Ma/Tang...clearly the better choice over Yu/Tang, having seen how Yu played out yesterday, won with great difficulty

For the rest disciplines China are simply fielding their best stocks in the arsenals!

I highly appraise the team coaches that eventually common sense and logic come first over adventurous and nostalgic mindset!

 the coach, really? if im not mistaken it was the male commentator (Steen) that discussed and suggested to GC to let KSH take the front court and let KHN cover the back court? if true, thats a disaster.
