That T50 looks indeed built like a tank. If they decide to really bring it with moveable towers this fall, I will have to fight hard with myself not to think about replacing my T20 again...

Nice work and documentation so far, I'm really excited to see the final result!

Yes, and I also planning to build a covered underframe to the main table.

    Ohh! It never ends!:crying:

Had to remove the bults to get it flat against the wood which will work as underframe.

Will cover the sides with som aluminium, and this side will have opening-function to reach the cables if sometings will happen.

Turntable up next. Will work to get a smooth surface as possible for the top-side for a nice metallic color from an German sportscar manufacturer. :D Under-side will be in black

It's hard to see from the picture but it's the same color code as Porsche's "macadamia metallic", unfortunately it became much darker as I was hoped for...maybe I will do it again with some bronze color.

Tank's pal, to bad though I have to wait a couple of days to mount the towers on base. The pro-guy from the paintshop said 7days for it to dry hard. I still have work to do, here is the underframe after a lap with the wood router.

    image.jpg

and it will need som paint as well...

    Assemble together

Use some grease on painted surfaces so the side-supports won't stuck with paint if I will strip it down sometime in future.
    image.jpg

Make some packings because I'm little afraid that the paint on the arms will scrape off.

Use some really high-dense performance grease Mobil XHP 222 blue.
