Ok cool. We'll have a chat when the machine I ordered comes in. See if my finances (if wife allows) stretch to it.

I think the T70 will look good with the floorstand. Here is a photomontage how it will look like

    That’s very nice!
I want to try with my one, but does anyone know how to disassemble Yonex ES5 arm&tower?

    I’M ON IT AGAIN!

This time i’ll do the bases. The paint has nibbled of with time near by the clamp pin.

Have completely disassembled the bases and grind off the bad coat on the top-side.

Did some fine polishing on the releasebotton.

Got the opportunity to master my OCD a bit and decided to repaint the arms now that I have time in the Christmas holidays. But was also thinking about adding the sloping edge like the Yonex PT8 has to get past the problem of the strings grinds into the paint and does bad marks on the arms.

No bad machine (my dream), that restoration will do the trick to get it top-notch again!

Never really understood why that angle bracket must be so long and go into the tower.

Filled those holes furthest away which is of no use, and then as usual starts with the basecoat.

I think so the string doesn't get caught on it.

Was a little unsure what it would look like with a darker color to the arms when I chose color in the store, but I think it did really well and with the arched edges it got a little more attitude.
