Depends on which 100%. When he won his last Olympics? Or his current 100%? Either way, LKY will benefit from the exposure.
What was happening with Malaysia badminton ? the experienced people run out of the team and the youngers run to others country.
Well, my 10th sense was wrong. LD is not giving a WO after all haha He seemed to have gained much confidence in the later half of G3 yesterday. I wonder how he'd do today. Jia you!
Nothing bad at all. Just your usual event. 1. People demand younger shuttlers. 2. People are tired of relying on old shuttlers who lose anyway 3. BAM is forced to focus on young players development. 4. Senior players are under fire and really have to comply with the current demand. 5. MAS people always migrate to SGP, not that really rare, in fact it's normal.
Wow LD actually made it through to the Final. He struggled a lot in G2. LGZ did really well in attacking. Good luck to him tomorrow
Lin Dan in final...?! How long it has been. Try to tell that to people in 2008-2011, it would blow their mind.
Thanks. I managed to catch the last few points So our LKY will have a chance to play with an ex-Olympic champion tomorrow!
Lin Dan celebrates victory, Lu Guangzu has to work very hard to try and close the gap, came within 1 point a couple of times but Lin Dan was not to be denied, taking the decider 21-18 in a hard-fought match.
The victory certainly meant a lot to Lin Dan, seeing the way he celebrates the final winning point. He was stretched to the limit by Lu Guangzu whose game was familiar to Lin Dan as they train together on a regular basis; the game 2 loss was Lin Dan easing off a bit too much, I think he wanted to conserve energy for tomorrow's final.
I'm sure Lin Dan's stamina and endurance will be tested by the young 21-year-old fit and fast Loh Kean Yew. As usual Lin Dan has to rely more on his experience to win but it may not always be enough to compensate for his age and physical limitations. Let's see how accumulated fatigue from four consecutive three-setters affects will him then.
hopefully goh/tan win it tomorrow, one of my favorite pair since their rio olympic run. seems like they're back to some of their best again, looking at the scoreline in this tournament.
2019 starts off with a bang at thailTha 300. Veteran LD, TWK/GVS, CPS/GLY all of them endured a disappointing 2nd half of 2018, made it to the finals tomorrow.
