My Review of the Black Knight Photon PCV (SL series)

^how much is the PCV in the states?

I don't know about Photon PCV, but I know the price of SL Feather, which is around US$120 (unless I remember incorrectly). I assume they should be in very close price range, as they are from the same production range?

They sell the SL Feather for 185CND which is about 160USD i believe, that's a big difference :( Might as well buy BK rackets from the states lol

It may be they're trying to get into the US market. BK already has quite a bit of share of the CAN market (if you omit Yonex) because it sponsors quite a few tournaments and many players.

Yes, nice review indeed. I know BK is very good and long lasting. Ive always wanted to buy one but way too expensive. If anyone has a photon racquet for sale for cheap, please tell me, or Private message me to work something out, thanks!

regards,

Kevin

has any one tried the C2C line? like the C2C shadow? or C2C nano-fire?
i was thinking about getting one for doubles or a extra racket,
check them out at www.courtsidesports.com or the BK site

No offense. But if the C2C line is a different line than SL, maybe consider start a new thread? ;)

I just got a Black Knight Photon PCV racket yesterday. While I do not have much to add to the nice review by Badten, here is my first impression: In my case my smash did not get any faster or more powerful. I have good control with this very light racket, though. I feel I can place the shuttle where I want it to be more accurately than before. Because I am aiming to be an all-round control player, this is a great racket for me. The only possible con is that if I get used to this racket all the other rackets will become too heavy for me to play with.... By the way the racket is strung with Yonex BG 68TI (24lb).

In MD, i think the best chance is to contact Ronny of Supreme Sport. Not sure they carry BK, though.

A while ago, someone from here gave a website about them, and I can't locate it any more. Here's some information I got from web, hope it still accurate:

Supreme Sports Supply, Inc.
P.O. Box 855
Rockville, MD
20848-0855

Phone 301-871-3690
FAX 301-460-0496

I have used all of the new BK rackets, Photon, Feather and Ghost. Despite their benefit of being light, they do pale in comparison to that ok the quality of Yonex rackets in my opinion. For similar reasons to that of a Japanese famous Table Tennis company called Butterfly, their products do not need advertising because they sell themselves. Also, they rarely upgrade their models since people are so comfortable with the technology that is out already. It will be interesting to see what any company can come out with next because if you ask me, they have reached their limits. This applies to all four racket sports in my opinion, take it from a racketlon player. Also, equipment does not make up for technique.

So anyone know the price and where to buy these in toronto? I've seen at Browns, but was wondering if there is another place.
