Since BWF only cover Super 500+ I don't think they would stream Spain Masters Super 300. Or maybe I am wrong? They might stream the SF or F matches?
Looks like Igarashi made light work of Jorgensen, ... which doesn't bode particularly well for the latter.
Livestreams already available from R1 on livestream.dn.ua or Sportszone, and , as I understand, TV telecasts from Semifinals in some countries.
Well, Steen has tweeted he's in Barcelona and I'm going to assume he's not just there for the Sagrada Familia.
Oh yeah I remembered Morten commentated on Lin Dan vs Christie in New Zealand Super 300 Final. So Semifinal and Final it is with Steen perhaps.
lee yong dae is still playing great, and kim gi jung are not too bad either...how I miss this korean defense
The Spain Masters SF court 1 matches will be live streamed on Badmintonworld.tv Youtube channel. 6 matches on court 1 with the first one of MD Kim/Lee (KOR) cs Chen/Man (MAS)
Yu Igarashi shows pretty good development lately, being semifinalists in two Super 100 tournaments, Akita Masters & Vietnam Open. Previously knocked out defending champion Sai Praneeth in SGP Open Super 500 last July. This Japanese youngster will face top-seed Suppanyu Avihingsanon, possible upset this evening. Minatsu Mitani is barricaded by three European WS players, she must clear Scottich star Kirsty Gilmour who downed higher-ranked Sayaka Takahashi yesterday. One final spot has been guaranteed by Danish leading ladies, Line Kjaersfeldt versus Mia Blichfeldt. In doubles category, looks like this Spain Masters will be warming up tourney for World Champion Matsumoto/Nagahara before heading to upcoming Japan Open Super 750. They're expected to pass Danish combination Fruergaard/Thygesen and the toughest opponent should be their teammates on finale tomorrow either Sakuramoto/Takahata or Aratama/Watanabe. Definitely looking forward to a Matsumoto/Nagahara and Sakuramoto/Takahata final. Hoping for an upset but let’s see.
Just checked the H2H turns out it’s 1-0 to Sakuramoto/Takahata and it was at the 2016 KOR Masters QF.
Igarashi is only one year younger than Momota and Nishimoto, and actually one year older than Tsuneyama. As he has, thus far, only managed to get any meaningful results in Super 100 tournaments or below, he is probably not developing quite as quickly or as much as the NBA would have hoped. For me, the victory over Jorgensen, rather than confirming Igarashi's ascent, seems to signal the irreversible demise of Jorgensen.
Don’t you think NBA holding Igarashi in B team is hindering his progress? Or may be, he is not performing better than his A team counterparts in training? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
There has to be some type of madness in elite level athlete's. They all have a mad obsession to win and most still do after retirement. These other legends have aged well, I would love to see them back in court again as well!
Indeed LYD has aged well.. never noticed that he ever looked this good before MAS pair giving too many easy points to the Koreans. Experiences and skills do matter Soo looking forward to the final between Kim/Lee vs Issara/Jongjit tomorrow
