Assuming these are the same clamps:

Do you think these are better (worth the extra $) than the clasic Alpha clamps on AliExpress with the diamond dust inserts?

An update, I bought these and they are the same clamps, and are very nice. Huge upgrade on what I had, not sure on an upgrade to the diamond dusted ones everyone has, having never used them.

I was wondering, @Alex82 or @s_mair, have you tried the pro version? Seems like the locking mechanism is different (looks like some pro yonex machine). I was wondering if this is faster to lock the racket?

Also, I was watching some stringer on youtube, it looks like the towers on the Stringmaster are quite low? I saw the stringers rotating the base clamp to the outside of the turntable whereas on the Stringmaster, the clamps bump on the side support

I need to stop looking at these threads . I wanted to upgrade my side supports now im seriously rethinking that decision and instead want to hold off on that purchase until I can upgrade my whole machine lol

Both are equally good but I tend to prefer the itennis for the smaller footprint and lightness. I would swap my Stringmaster but keep the xpider press down base clamps if I could haha

The iTennis Pro is pretty much the same size and weight as the StringMaster. And yes, it has the same mouting systen as the Yonex machines. Which isn't necessarily better or worse that the other one - you just have to get used to it.

I honestly have never ever spend a single thought about this. Why would this be relevant?

Seriously guys, I would highly recommend to stop overthinking every tiny little thing you see on the internet somewhere. Just appreciate the equipment that you have and spend more time trying to get the best out of it. The stringer makes the difference, not the machine.

If you're still on the stock side supports of the T12 then yes, the ones that come with the iTennis ones are a lot better.

However, if you are seriously considering to upgrade the whole machine at some not-so-distant point in time, then I'd question the sense of upgrading anything on the T12 anymore.

    There you go:
    https://www.tennisman.de/Weiteres/B...Motor-A01-Motor-fuer-Besaitungsmaschinen.html

But be aware that there is the successor already released and will be available shortly:
    https://www.tennisman.de/Weiteres/B...or-Ennoxx-Motor-fuer-Besaitungsmaschinen.html

I've compared them both in this thread:
