Agreed on mental fitness. Our young talents has talent but very weak mentally, look at our women singles, GJW in her match she seems very frustrated with her constant mistake and always sighing away instead of focusing to improve it. Young talents these days are very weak mentally, regardless of their skills and fitness, once you got weak mental strength then you'll buckle to the pressure.

Also I've realized that TSB is going to WS and CSK is going to MD.
Both of them are extremely good coaches and can develop the players more.

Lets see how Misbun can help to further groom LCW. We all know that it's Misbun that brought LCW to become the top player that we know. I do hope instead of LCW, Misbun can do his magic touch to the rest of the young singles badminton players in the team.

To me it seems that LCW started to periodically win over LD when Misbun Sidek left his coaching bench. At least that is how it appeared to me.

Very and extremely suprising move by DMS. However i am very glad for him to come back to BAM especially because DLCW will most probably be the happiest man also for having his beloved mentor coming back with him. There must have been someone in BAM with a magic tongue that has finally able to lure DMS back. After all this many years since DMS left BAM, he said he will never be back unless things is being done right particularly about the BAM coaching direction and management that is very "cloudy" from DMS point of view.

History will always remember and here in Msia, mostly the local badminton community here do very agree without doubt that the foundation and ground where DLCW is currently standing now started when DMS had the opportunity to coach him. However despite going through hell and obstacle both in his career and family while with BAM mentoring DLCW until he becomes one of Msia grestest player has ever lived, it was the way of those big thinkers in BAM treating him at that time that made him left with heavy heart....not because leaving BAM but departing from DLCW who he said was like a son to him.

Now BAM i tell you this........ Having DMS back will be a major game changer. I trully beleive that DMS came back only because he sees that all the brains in BAM management now has finally can think straigh and has a plan that can put DMS in a better position and authority to guide BAM to greater heigts especially while DLCW career also is still with BAM. Dont make the same mistake twice. BAM must remember without DMS, DLCW will just probably now end up like ariff or zulfadli and importantly Lin Dan will get bored winning everything without a true nemesis chalenging him and end up eventually changing his career to gymnastic.

One thing I have realized about the backup shuttles is that they have somewhat fine footwork and rallying skill but couldn't put a finishing touch on them.

Beside LCW, Misbun have also coached Roslin & Hafiz Hashim until they themselves become world no 1.

The thing I am scared is once they peak one time, they became inconsistent and unable to win anything after that.
Well, I am sure Misbun and BAM can find find the solution to that problem when the time come.

    CMIIAW,

Misbun's coaching was the defensive type where LCW lost most to LD and CL.
LCW was more of an attacking type when he was not with Misbun, with Hendrawan I think.

The way I see it, he has to be the attacker, not the defender to win matches.

Sadly, he has regressed back to the defender after Malaysia Open. He was waiting for LD to attack but he himself couldn't retrieve it properly.

True, I love to see the way LCW played when he came back from after his temporary ban. That was a very aggressive style of play during that short period.

Yeah, I'd like to see him play like that again. His style today is just trying to force enemy to attack him.
LCW sometimes need to attack more and play net to win points.

I find that appointing a head coach for each of the disciplines is a promising move. Certainly it makes logical sense because badminton is such a high standard now.
