Consistency is a problem for the Korean team. The only lady I think is very consistent is Lee SoHee. I put her down as a possible future Ayaka Takahashi.

LYD/YYS are on right now with such beautiful play. I miss them so much. I'm not a fan of the MD scene right now.

INA md wahyu ade, the macau gp champion, lost in the first round, so much for hoping to have decent backup to minions

Not sure if anyone else saw it but the point around 17-12 in the LYD/YYS match has got to be the most amazing I've ever seen in MD matches for a long long time.

They make it eventually as expected. Not so for the no. 1 seeds LJH/LY who were supposed to be their next opponents.

Jesus i miss the long rallies.. i don’t really like the current 3-shots/point these days either. And it’s not like the long rallies lack intensity but their defence is so good and their ‘never give up before shuttle hit the floor’ attitude is great to watch. Cheers to lyd/yys

Most of rallies today are not even up 20 shots in most game.
This is what exciting rallies are.

Kevin/Marcus make it all about the speed and fast reactions. I mean fine Kevin has great anticipation and super quick reactions and great skill but a lot of his quick reaction shots are just what they are, not much thought process involved. Opponents are just not able to cope with the speed. Boe and Mogensen, esp Boe when at his best can make Kevin pay for these loose shots. I miss the days of sterling defense and building rallies.

I am never a fan of any scene except MD and WS probably.. others are either too slow or too dominated.

To begin with you have to ask why these matches last so long..

I know LeeYoo is the type that dilly dally so long on court. dont perceive long minutes with long rallies. and thats the irony.
