I really hope so, however, still a long way and hard to predict what will happen in future. junior circuit and senior circuit is very different. Look at how many mas players have won in the junior circuit. Those winning junior champ that came on senior circuit, where are their names? Couldn't even smell it == sad to say so.

So it is not easy to be a very good coach.

LCW must be able to motivate the young talents under his charge if he ever becomes a coach, which I doubt very much. We have seen LCW himself unable to motivate and play above himself nowadays.

It seems to be a fantastic and easy opportunity to groom a junior champion into a senior champion, but time and again, this seems not to be the case as stated above. The player concerned must have the passion, commitment and desire to become a champion and willing to do the hard work.

GJW so far has not lost in World Junior Championship. It is a good experience for her, she will get to know her potential future rival. Good fun. But for God sake BAM, let it be her last junior tournament. She has beaten many seniors and won Grand Prix event in Europe. Treat her like one would a world champion. Groom her for major event, World Championship and Olympics. LCW talent was wasted bcos in his prime he had to play chicken feed Grand Prix event..he became King of Superseries, so what, he has no claim to World Championship and Olympic Gold. Learn from past mistake, rare talent like GJW rarely come by.

If she has more chances to win a world junior title, she will have more than chicken feed.

Winning a junior world championship didn't stop intanon from becoming a world champion, did it?

One won't hurt.. two is too much :)

Malaysia already got many Junior World Champions.. the thing is most can't make it to senior rank. I'm just saying GJW case is unique..she doesn't need to go the conventional route.. she is already passed that

that is true. Probably a reflection of the system of BAM. Other associations have had junior world champions who have had successful professional careers.

But what she won is the WC, not only the junior WC. Besides, she made many semis and finals, which also count as good results.

looks like there is hope for malaysian badminton in this girl. WS has now evolved so much it has overtaken MS as the more exciting discipline, so much variety and so many nationalities at the top level.

So many single digit wins. I think GJW did break some sweat in quarterfinal against china..otherwise it is all childplay for her
