So! Minions survived their R1, judging from the live score they didn't seem to be doing fine. IF, the rumors about why Kevin has been in not-so-fine-form was true, minions are in much more trouble than I have thought. He/Tan is waiting for them in R2, they can't really afford to have him distracted while Marcus is struggling with his attacks in slow conditions too. Even if they somehow got through to QF, 99% chance Fajar/Rian will be there.
So with only imagination we could only visualize Kevin being on fire today, showing the CHN opponents who was the boss and beat them in straight sets. What a relief!! Not once they were on court 1 or 2, it's ridiculous this schedule planning from the organizers. Anyway, keep up your good form minions, win it tomorrow.
i was disappointed too, paid so much to sit at middle section but minions was put at the other end of hall. have to shuttle butts around but luckily got some empty seats at ct4 and all the hassle were worth it after watching minions performance today. on another note: Li junhui attitude quite unpleasant at the end of G2 at 19 points (if i remember correctly) against soh aaron today. Liliu straight away challenging line judge call and Liu raised both hands unhappy, so ump called them over, then li junhui tried to acknowldge ump decision. Next moment, Li junhui roaring across to soh aaron loudly. After Seeing that scene now I can understand why Kevin was unhappy with Li/Liu last year, because the way Li shouted was just irritating and annoying. another thing: funny scenes when people were moving around getting sit near the court following their fave players. esp when minion, TTy at ct4. Plus young children running around seating area chasing players leaving courts asking for signature when pranoy enter ct1, couple of indian senior supporters move into VIP section near ct1 but was asked to leave by Usher. too bad.... Watching Badminton match live at stadium is really a total different experience. when Watching from youtube everything seems so easy, but when see it live, you see it in front of you how they jumped smashed run sweat and all just to get point by point. Salute.
Missed the match. Anyone knows what was the difference in this Fajar Rian match compared to their match in Malaysia? Score suggests a comfortable win, quite surprising to be honest
The match was on Court 3, no stream available. But according to our live reporter @twawawau, Minions was playing faster and better today, Fajar/Rian had trouble dealing with it.
Really nice picture. They look really good here. Just one thing, is that taped on Marcus arm just under his wrist? I hope it's not something serious
