Oh, yeah, let's make a bet, then. At the end of this year, I am sure that INA MD can fill the top 3 entirely.
Kevin said after winning Dubai2017 that it will be harder next year. They still did better in 2018 than they did in 2017 As athlete, gotta look forward.. cant think what if this year i achieve less than last...
How can fajar handle kevin at the front court but not kamura Hope minions can get their revenge next week, they probably gonna meet fajar/rian again in qf.
Watching Fajar/Rian match today and seeing their body language on court.. I realized I have never seen Kevin showed that kind of body language in a match. Marcus though, many times.
Well he is not playing Kamura every single day. I hope minions will have better luck and Kevin to play more patiently. Oh and Marcus is in better attacking form
Let's bounce back in Singapore Open, minions. Singapore Open and BAC are the titles that minions haven't earn. I hope they can win these titles.
Another 8 months on Setiawan's and Ahsan's bodies, and all the rest of the circuit racking up points where they can for the qualification? I'll take that bet. 2 is really possible, assuming Fajar/Rian can muster some consistency. But between their inconsistency and the 'daddys' age/injury issues I'm pretty sure one of the pairs will stay outside the Top3.
When i told my partner that Minions have 20SS titles then do you know that KamuraSonoda fighting for SS number 5 and Li Liu number 4. She s bursting with laughter.. play like so god hahah
RickyRexy and ChandraSigit fills the top 2. I cant remember any pair of the same nationalities since then.
Never really have given that a real thought until now, honestly. It's not that easy to win a title just like Lee said in his post. Look at how everyone is brawling it off among one another when minions is not around. They battled hard against minions, and struggled to hold on till the end. We sort of assumed that whoever succeeded in beating minions would be the sure winner and the next dominating pair. It hasn't happened so far.
Anyway, moving on. In Singapore Open minions will play Berry/Haridianto in R1, then the winner of Ong/Teo vs He/Tan in R2. Fajar/Rian will be playing qualifying pairs, so shouldn't be a problem for them getting into QF and minions will face them again. The other quarter is even more interesting, 4 JPN pairs are all in it plus Ko/Shin. So I would say it will be one if these pairs in SF.
Yeah honestly Fajri have to have a hard look at themselves. Ask themselves why they cant be champion, they had enough chances, had they won AE last month, maybe it will have been forgotten. There are reasons why everytime Minions beat Fajri, they ended up as champions(3x) There are reasons why everytime they beat Li/Liu, they ended up as champions (7x) except team event and there are reasons why everytime they beat KamuraSonoda , they ended up as champions (at least 4x?) include MO2017 Its common to be targeted as WR1, but they already won 20 titles and that is pairing record. Maybe it has all come too late. Just like Lee said its not easy. No one understand the bitterness of not winning a title or losing in the final i guess.
I remember at the beginning of this year fajar said something like, "it seems so easy for minions to win a title", he must wonder why the same thing didn't happen to him and his partner, it's like so hard for them to even get 1 s500++ title
You sure you don't mean TonyHalim/ChandraSigit? Anyway, I can't even remember the #1&2 being the same nationality even a single time in the SS era, let alone the Top3. To much that can go wrong. Kudos of they manage the Top2, that's already incredibly good
A very suggestive picture from BWF news article It makes it look like they are bowing to Kevin. This is the source : https://bwfworldtour.bwfbadminton.c...ie-lin-dan-in-semifinals-malaysia-open-day-4/
Haha, I was about to commented on this, but decided not to. Makes it even weirder that Fajar/Rian, who were prostrated, are actually the winner. I guess it is not bad for minions. Minions may lost the match, but they got treat like a god.
