that is something that Yap KH said before as well, that they may lack the mental strength to pull thru. it could very well be pressure since the two korean pairs pulled out.
Re: Last hope Yap is gonna face with severe criticism back home for such embarassing defeat! May even get the boot! Serious!! It's acceptable if they lost in the 3rd round supposing if they meet Ha/Kim, but definitely not in such a match!
Re: Last hope one of the two is a problem. either the MD team or the coach/strategist. i dunno how good either are right now. But both players and coach would be sadden.
Re: Re: Last hope I won't really say so, you know. Yap did what he could to help toughen up the two, just that the spur of the moment thingy got them. As Andy said, with the Koreans out, they're probably expected to play Chandra-Sigit in the finals now, unofficially 'seeded' as favourites to face the Indonesians in the finals. This, I will say, is TREMENDOUS pressure. They lost it when their mental fort broke.
9-5 for Choong Hann in second game! Finish it off fast, otherwise, you'll be in trouble if drag til rubber!
Hey, don't go off yet! Surprisingly, all the good match-ups are scheduled on court 2: Xia vs Kenneth Camilla vs Zhang Ning Cai/Fu vs Jens/Martin So, stay tune here, andy!!
What time is it in Australia? Does this mean Andy is not going to be able to sleep tonight because of all the exciting matches? Good that it's the weekend tomorrow
would love too buddy. but here in oz, its 12.37 and freezing cold.........somethinglike 5deg cel, which for some would be nothing............but for me fingers r frozen, toes are cold. would love to stay and post.............but its too darn cold! ENJOY!
I've been watching Wong CH v.s. Sony. Wong doesn't seem 100% in form, especially at trailing 0-5 at first set. Nevertheless, he played really SMART and control the game. Bravo! Wong!!
