The door is wide open now, after we knew both Chan/Chew and Jens / Martin are struggle. Seems anything can happen now???

    Xie beat Hallam 11-1 / 11-0

    Fu/Cai beat Nakao/Sakamoto 15-8 / 15-5

pretty good scoreline for the Chinese. hope their win so far will boost their confidence in later stage. certainly a good outing for the Chinese MD this WC. two pairs are now in the quarter final. we will see how the remain pair of Chen Rui / Wang Wei do.

it will remain to be seen if the Chinese has improved. their next hurdles will be :

    Sang/Zheng against Chan/Chew

    Cai/Fu against Eriksen/Hansen

if Wang / Chen wins against the Korean pair, they will be faced with the mighty Sigit/Candra.

all are very tough matches. but it is the tough matches that builds character.

Interesting result, if Gong Ruina pass 3rd round (don't see why not), then the upper half of WS will be "civil war" of 4 CHN ladies (Zhou, Gong, Xie, Wang: consider she's still chinese, even represent HK).

The bottom half, Zhang ning has tough road need to go through Carmila and Mia to meet with her teammates in final. Way to go...

    Hmmm...

In XD 3rd round, Chen / Zhao took "walk over" passed teammate Sang / Chen. Is this a "team strategy" again or something happend to the new pair?

Shon fight back and won 2nd set 15-2. 3rd set 8-2 to Shon

Ra/Lee lost to Yang/Zhang pretty tamely at 15-10 / 15-6 . Korea isn't having a very good WC this time around....

C&S and HK pairing are even at 10-10

Right now, Liu/Njoto is leading 13/12 in the first game. I'm surprised that nobody suggested at the beginning of this thread that Njoto/Liu vs C&S would be a very interesting matchup. Afterall, Njoto/Liu has beaten C&S before. This is a match where a potential upset may occur. Go HK Go.

2nd game between the HK and Indonesian Pair looks pretty close. Liu/Njoto is taking a 4-3, sorry make that 5-3 lead.

C&S has the tendency to play around and not play seriously. when they do get into the game, they are lethal and can kill their opponents in no time.
