    Paaske / Harder beat Eriksen / Schjoldager 15-9 / 15-12

on the other end of the hall....

    Lamp/Jorgensen is leading Kim/Ra 11-8 on the 1st set.

what's going on? is Ra tired after the WD game? Kim should be pretty fresh now that he isn't play MD anymore.

Looks like Korean team has been cursed after Sudirman Cup.....

And If Kim/Ra is down, I guess Chen QQ/Zhao TT and Nathan/Gail will be laughing even in dream.

Ng Wei up 8-7 against Jonassen. the match has been on for 45mins. if it drags on like that, it will come down to endurance.

the Danes took the first set.

the Koreans really aren't having a good WC.

they lost 3 players, Ha / Yoo / Kim Kyeung Won due to injuries in one day. now their banker Kim/Ra is not doing that well.

but we it may be too early to tell. perhaps Ra just need some time to take a breather.

the match i am most looking forward to, Xia vs Lin just started. Xia already cruising up to 4-0

i believe both has the ability to beat each other. Xia came out on top last time in JO, but i think Lin wasn't playing his best then... i wonder what will happen today.

    Kim/Ra won 2nd set 15-7 , and then leading 6-0 on 3rd. that's more like Kim/Ra

Lin came back and only trailing 10-13 to Xia. that is the best tactic Lin can use. let Xia go crazy at the beginning, then slowly come back and drains Xia's energy. Xia will not last more than 2 sets that way. that's Xia's weakness and may be Lin is trying to exploit that.

Xia just took 1st game. i wonder how much juice Xia has left.

The first set took 27 minutes.
I am wondering same thing: will Xia XZ stay fast till the end of match?
Well, looks like Lin Dan is losing points too fast in the second set...
    1:7 for 5 minutes....

On the other hand, for Chinese team, Xia is the best choice for the most likely upper half winner: Wong CH. So...

Xia's on fire. he just beat Lin 15-10 / 15-3. Lin lost pretty tamely on the second set while he gave a good fight on the first one.

7 minutes for the 2nd game. Lin Dan gave up so easily.....
One hypothesis could be: head coach told them, whoever won the first set, means he is in better shape, to save the energy for later stage, the loser of 1st game has to give up second game.
That could explain why Lin lost 2nd so fast without a fight.

Very likely. So many games were decided because of one of the players played a very tough game the day before. Chinese coaches have so much authorities, and I won't be surprised the coaches asked Lin Dan to give up the 2nd game.
