I PMed you a more thorough breakdown if you care to read it, but OVERALL:

    66 > 85 > ML > 98

    though in my entire experience,

    66 > MicroPower > 85 > MicroLegend > 80 > 95 > 98 > 65

it could be because my current preferred tension is 24, and I've heard people say NGY95/98 doesn't really come alive til 26 or 27 pounds at least. And I still haven't tried the new ZyMax yet. Though dink-a-lot has said the ZM 62 should be considered the new BG66

How does the 3U AT900T compare to the T200? Though it's kinda hard to truly compare rackets in different weight classes. It's like trying to compare a featherweight or a welterweight to a super heavyweight in boxing or wrestling or judo.

Wow im surprised to see NBG98 so low on your rating scales. I'm currently using it on my Arc Z Slash and find it quite good. BUt yeah, depends on your personal preference i guess.

Cheers. Will read your PM now.

Yea it's kinda like, super powerful, but feel matters much more to me. I can always manufacture power, I can't manufacture feel.

feel as in the feeling you get when the racket hits the shuttle?
for me touch and net tumbles are really important in my decision making.

Feel as a general term including touch, control, playability and how it feels in my hand when I hit the shuttle.

Should have them early this week. Still trying to decide what to string them with though. I think I'm going to order some zymax 62 but not sure if it will get here in time. May just have to go with the BG85 or 80 I have on hand.

The following are my primary rackets
    Arcsaber10
    NS9900
    Ti-10

My back up rackets are a Ti-6 and slim 10 (yes I have one that's not broken).

Ok, just got the rackets today, have not had a chance to string them yet but here are some measurements.

    Tantrum 300: weight 89.2g; balance point = 284.1mm
    Visible Hollow 1800: weight 88.2g; balance point = 290.5mm
    Lethal 70: weight 87.1g; balance point = 280.2mm

The Tantrum 300 is right on spec for weight (88g - 90g) and is pretty well balanced and almost right on spec (285 +/- 5mm).

The Visible Hollow was the head heaviest and outside spec (285mm +/- 3mm) at 290.5mm. There was no weight spec that I could find.

The Lethal 70 which is supposed to be head heavy has the lowest balance point making it the head lightest of the bunch and way out of spec (290mm +/- 3mm). It was also the lightest racket at 87.1g, spec was 87.5g.

These may just be manufacturing variances but I find it interesting that the Lethal 70, which is marketed as the head heaviest, and therefore the best for attacking smashers, is actually the head lightest out of the three I bought and well outside their spec.

I obviously can't tell which racket will be best for me until I test them but based on the specs of the rackets I received I'd guess the visible hollow will be my personal choice based on the head heaviness.

Once I've had a chance to string and play with the rackets I'll report back again. I plan on stringing them all with BG85 in order to keep everything constant except the racket itself. Since all the rackets were G2 grip will be removing all the original grips and replacing with super grap to keep that a constant too.

I will reweigh and check the balance point again after stringing and regripping.

hey druss, can i ask, do all your apac rackets have 'NA' stated on it? as in, they are all north american coded?

also, do they all come with serial codes? because mine didn't.

i'm asking because i was told there were different 'versions' kinda like yonex rackets. apparently malaysian ones are cheaper but less quality control and northern american (i'm not sure about other areas) ones are more expensive but better cosmetic paint.

both the lethal 70 and tantrum 300 have NA and serial numbers. the visual hollow 1800 had neither.

do you find that the paint job/quality of the VH1800 differs from the other two? do you notice any other discrepancies?
