Aye. if I remember right, what actually happens if it's international is Kam tries to get in contact with the supplier closest to the customer to see if they have the stock of interest, then if they do, he gets them to send it to the customer to keep shipping costs and time down. If not, he's willing to ship international, it'll just cost more. And the Nano 900 Power is very nice for a 45 dollar racket ^_^ I love sales.
i can get it for RM115 include BG66 string and grip USD 1 equivalent to RM3.5+- i don't know the price for canadian dollar =) so..i rather get it here haha
Exactly. I wish i could pop over to Malaysia And buy all the apacs rackets i want. For now though, I gotta collect them slowly since shipping sucks and the prices are higher cuz of the middle man.
i will..in a week or 2's time i need to search for some badminton playing friends first due to the new neighbourhood without any badminton activities, what's the use of a new racquet? although it's cheap haha
My first APACS rackets are Nano900 Power and Speed. They are OK but nothing compare to the APACS own series. I really suggest you look into Nano9990. It is very good and the price should be relatively cheap in MAS
if you buy from ebay (malasian seller) it's cheaper, the apac US/canada price are a little stiffer for some reason (unknown to me), it's probably because of their shipping (apacs ship to them and they ship to us), but then again, they also charges us for shipping (~15 which is the same as ebay shipping cost to me)... From what I've seen, a lethal 50/60 costs around 65-80 + shipping strung from ebay, apacs canada does it at around 120 + shipping UNSTRUNG. they charge ~14 bucks for bg65... that's the same as my local stringer, unacceptable because they're a big seller, and all my local racket seller will string for free if the thing is over 100 dollars. So if you want to buy apacs, get a group of local, and place a huge order from ebay, it'll be so much cheaper. From my personal experience, all rackets are cheaper from asia, as long as you get a reliable seller and buy more than 1, you'll save buying from the source.
With Apacs Canada having so many sales recently it hasn't been that bad as long as they are rackets you want.
Haha yea that's why I've only bought the Nano900 Power and the Nano SuperLight. The former cuz it was a 2 for one sale, and the latter cuz that wasn't on eBay and I knew they'd run out.
Well I haven't had the chance to string them up yet due to impending finals for college. I will playtest on Thursday though, if you can hold out til then.
I played with the N900P and it was a good racket, not very much like the actual AT900P but played well. I broke the strings the first day I played with it though so only got 2 hours with it.
I did weigh mine and both the white and red were 87g, and the red felt very head heavy. So I'd have to say yes good for offensive play just on the specs alone.
I've never heard of the sweetspot 2000. Is that Apacs as well? Also, APACS Canada on Facebook has announced the arrival of not only the new Visible Hollow 2020 (don't know it thats a typo from 2200, or if it really is 2020), but ALSO the NEW Armor Muscle PRO 101! Kam will be getting them next week.
