My friend told me that this pair Tan Kian Meng / Lai Pei Jing pair looks promising too. This player is superb Tan Kian Meng. Last year he played with Peck Yen Wei in XD for the first time and both reached the finals for that tournament. Then for the second tournament with Peck Yen Wei he reached the semifinals. For their third tournament they are forced to withdraw halfway after the quarterfinals match due to his partner serious lung infection.

This will be his fifth tournament with another new partner Lai Pei Jing and once again they reached the finals. My friends concluded that he is a very promising player indeed.

So this at least one thing is sure. If you are born in China you are born with innate self belief.. The Young XD pair who are apparently played with each other only on few occasions but they never showed a wrinkle of second thoughts.. Apart from the very beginning of g1 that never let anybody believe they aren't well established as a pair.. Kudos a big way to go

    Just like yesterday!!
I really liked her traditional Scotish celebration in between g1.
PV hasn't played well its just Kirsty takes time to adjust which has coated her a dear game.. Common PVS you have to do much better in this game

It's in, the umpire is not over-ruling it, probably thinking it's on the far side where she's sitting, unless it's clearly in by much.

Madhumita Bisht is doing a good job again today. The best part of all Sindhu is going to win this game. Amazing. You just be happy. I am very happy too. Sindhu win win.

Kirsty Gilmour needs to mature and play a simpler game. Trying too hard sometimes.

Sindhu is a top 10 material. But i think she do not want that place yet. She hangs on to ranking 12 for so long time.

Oh dear me Kirsty Gilmour keeps making so many mistakes. She won't be able to win if she keeps playing like this. Sindhu on the other hand is playing so well.

No, it's their first tournament together - Li Yinhui previously partnered, still do occasionally, with Liu Yuchen. I believe after this initial unexpected success, the CHN coaches are likely to try them out for a few more tournaments before deciding whether to firm up the combination.

FYI, Zheng Siwei started as a MS player in the junior circuit, after switching to doubles, he is proving to be a gem in both XD and MD. In case we forget, Zheng SW's original partner was, still is, I think, with Chen Qingchen, and they are just as sensational. It looks to me now that the Zheng SW/Li YH combination is even more lethal, for the time being at least. What a great start for this new young XD pair.
