Yup, Zainuddin can play with wild abandon, and may luck be with him as well.

It may be just a GPG tourney but the psychological boost of a win or a close fight will be most heartening and a significant motivating factor for Iskandar's career development down the line.

Iskandar looks erratic and error prone. maybe he is trying too much.

I hope Iskandar do tighten up his game.he has three good points in his game. His defence , his flat play and his net play. His never say die attitude also will make him a tough nut to crack. Only problem is that he has knock knees syndrome. And he must be careful not to get injured which would cut short his career or even be an obstacle to his ambition to be one of the top players in the world.

He should aim to catch up with his contempories like Chou, Srikanth, Tian , Tommy and Viktor. if he could improve I see him in the top 10 if not top 5 players in the next 3 years. Whether he could be a top player? We need to see whether he could improve on his overall game.

As you can see how LCW play against Iskandar. he move him around before attacking. And in the 1st game LCW really had to work to overcome him. in the 2nd game you can see the younger man getting tired and slowed down.

Yes, it happened as both pairs displayed fierce and close final duel, maiden GP Gold title for young Indonesian pair :) WD clash also delivered intriguing tie, Japanese combo played more compact tactically better than Chinese pair, Tang YT looked not her best. Sindhu was too strong for Gilmour, a lopsided match, similar fashion that exhibited by Lee CW to crush Zainuddin in second game despite his younger compatriot gave tough resistance in first set. However, it's still good run for the underdog Zainuddin along this tournament, only lost to Lee CW. The unranked XD Zheng SW/Li YH who topped podium in their first ever playing together show Chinese capability to groom some potential pairs in this category.

    All,

Is it true that LCW won't be participating at all in Thomas Cup?
Will we see more Zainuddin in MAS Thomas Cup lineup?
