Looks like there's gonna be an upset. Hiroyuki/Hayakawa up 11-5 against Ahasan/Setiawan in the decider.

Millions of errors from both Ahsan and Setiawan.

What a fight from Hayakawa/ Endo. They were obivously pumped up from their win against the chinese and gave everything in this match! They're through the next round :)

Second match victory for Endo/Hayakawa after accounting for INA MD Ahsan/Setiawan's defeat.

Luckily, Akane Yamaguchi turned the matc haround in G2 and G3 after narrowly dropping G1, 20-22, to CZE Kristina Gavnholt.

Let's see how many easy, free points will Surinamese Soren Opti give away to Derek Wong whom I think just have to keep the shuttle in play as long as possible to benefit from it.

I suppose you mean JPN MD and perhaps JPN WD ? Not so in their MS and XD but WS Nozomi Okuhara was comprehensive in disposing of VIE Vu Thi Trang yesterday.

Actually, Endo/Hayakawa's match with Chai Biao/Hong Wei could've gone either way.

Didn't knew Peter Gade is now a French coach. No wonder Delphine Lansac is putting on a fight against Sung.

Seems to me, poor Opti will gift his opponent at least 12 points per set.

Indonesia's biggest hope to win gold medal is losing today. Will this Olympics be worse than four years ago? If they lose again tomorrow, it will ruin my weekend.

The way Setiawan played today was very strange, full of errors but not usuall error that he used to do. Pitty for Ahsan he actually play good match today.
