I suppose Asian Championships (SS) are of a higher standard than even the European Championships which is graded as a GPG. Most of the top badminton nations, excluding Denmark, are in the AC grouping. Oceania and Pan American Championships are even of a lower grade (GP) but still higher than African Championships which are considered of IC level.
Hey Bro, we are not robots okay! I'm actually outlasting my shelf life. Younger folks already given up long ago. This game suits the very young much better than uncles like me!
Age by years is only a number, I can feel your energy ⚡ through your posts. I am of uncle age also, we still have something to offer.
But having said that, one can hope to live longer provided he/she observes some simple rules: 1. No smoking 2. No alcohol 3. No over eating of especially unhealthy foods (Obesity). Best eat less, say around 70% instead of 100% and drinking clean water, not canned drinks with lots of sugar, like Cola. 4. Have enough sleep, at least 7 hours a day, to let the body rest and repair. 5. Exercise, agree playing baddy is an excellent activity.
Yes, despite my senior age, I still play doubles, but not without the occasional pain especially at the joints. But I have to work hard a bit to maintain my fitness, like going to the gym to do strength training and a bit of aerobics, ie, running on the thread mill. Just last year I was grossly overweight, unsightly, obese, BMI out of healthy range. So this year I have to work harder to get near to my objective. I've cut down one meal, quite a sacrifice you know.
