Finally congratulations to Lee Chong Wei for playing so well to win the game today. Thank you. Yup really deserves to win. Credit must also be given to Chen Long for reaching the finals and playing so well too.
I really appreciate both their sacrifices. That is why I pity them. That post is only meant as an explanation to my friend only. I really admire both their fighting spirit, never give up spirit.
Okay, thank you for correcting, I just thought it's just an SS level... beg pardon for my short memory
Anyway it is a very exciting final for today. Glad that I get to watch all the matches live. Enjoyed every single moment of today match. Really good match with good fighting spirit from all the players.
Once Steen said he would replace LCW's smash with JOJ's smash an that would make him a better player. And GC agreed . LMAO
Now where's Jimmy Goh and company, and overseas friends, newer BC friends perhaps Abedeng and badMania have not met before.
Hhmmm forgot to mention earlier, even the service judge felt the urge to show off his relevance at the last minutes, faulted Dato Lee's serve near the end of the match, but luckily it occurred on the very wide commanding margin, 20-7 for Dato Lee so it's pretty safe to be ignorable. Now imagine on many other occasions the fault calls happened on the decisive scorelines within tight games/matches...just unseen ruinous factors destroying the matches...
Why should wonder, it's great to be able to attribute something Danish to the highest level quality...came out from the mouth of a Dane...LMAO
The most interesting final is definitely third match, XD. Ahmad/Natsir showed their mental strength at crucial moment, end of deciding game, it's not easy to overcome the on-fire home pair. Overall, Chan/Goh have played their excellent badminton throughout this tournament. Last match that supposed to be the perfect final but an anticlimax ending, Lee Chong Wei is too strong and ready for Chen Long, 21-13 / 21-8, the worst scoreline for Chen against Malaysian hero. Three consecutive defeats to same player, this should be worrying sign for Chen Long.
I believe that the China team ( Chen Long & Lin Dan) will fully prepare to face LCW in Rio. Its too early to predict what will happen. I am LCW biggest fans but I am worried if he peak too early. For the start, its good that he has been very selective in his tournament this year. He tends to play too much tournament before. Hopefully he can prove us wrong in Rio. TBH Lin Dan & Chen Long is too strong for major events such WC & Olympic p/s Its nice to see Chen Long & his coach playing with LCW's son.
Order of play of Sunday, April 10, 2016 Stadium Malawati - 1 What a Finals! No #1 Seed won any title. And Winners were from different countries! The sweetest and most boisterous victory must be from Dato LCW on home ground! I hope next week's Singapore Open will be just as exciting and open! Unfortunately it will be less noisy, but we hope Chinese and Indonesian fans will create more excitement. As Dato wont be participating, less Malaysians will be present, but there is a good number of Malaysian, Chinese and Indian workers in Singapore to make up a respectable number. Also being just a SS, the prize monies will be lower than a SSP. For those attending, especially from afar, we trust you will enjoy good company and an exciting tournament. Despite the heat outdoors, the SIS is a beautiful and comfortable venue as part of the first class Singapore Sports Hub and it is fully air-conditioned, which players will have to pay heed to the draft. See you in Singapore!
