Agreed. He will bounce back in the next tournament as I believe he is eager to prove that he is still the best. There may be some black horse as well that can rise to the occasion. LCW & Lin Dan need to watch their back.. Rio is sure gonna be interesting to watch.
That is pribably true - Jorgensen (and Srikanth among non-Chinese players) tend to hit harder and steeper than LCW.
Hehe, sure I am, quietly reading sometimes. This time, mainly cos of Tago & Momota case. Unfortunate their case But come OG, I'll put on my cheering hat for all Msians competitors for all sports
Couldn't watch a single one of them neither today nor yesterday! A surprise for me that CL was thrashed! LCW most certainly performs extraordinary at home ground (judging by the scoreline)! Good work old man, I wish CL get back on track and win the remaining SS before Rio!
Anybody can put up a short analysis of RI's games today! She sure as hell on fire, my goodness me it's so demanding to win 2 consecutive tourney of SS level inspire of such competitive draw! Hats off girl!!
Why is some forummer said LCW knows the court condition better? Is this the same stadium malaysian camp use to practice everyday? As far as I know Stadium Malawati often use for concert, entertainment etc
Two out of two is not luck. He would have trained for net cords. I don t understand this ridiculous insistence to apologise as sportsmanship. A professional should stay as focused as possible .
LCW adapted to the court conditions better. Having said that this venue was often used for basketball, volleyball and netball. Not badminton. A close analogy is Anaheim USA. There Taufik Hidayat adapted better to the court conditions and whitewashed LCW AND LD in the 2005 World Championships.
Loh, however I heard the GC / Steen commented that the drift in MAS stadium is still less severe compared to the one in the stadium in SIN hosting the SS/SSP events. This remark was made during the SF matches iirc. IF AND IF such flaw does happen then it will be of my big surprise... unless they referred to a different stadium (older one).
Not an analysis, just a terse comment: RI played to her quality but TTY made lots of UEs, wide, long, etc thus it's a rather lopsided match, 21-14 21-15 in 39'
The drift in Singapore Indoor Stadium is unmentionable. I have requested that the organizers switch off the air con for half hour when Superdan is playing. When he does not have to contend with the drift, Superdan should be able to send off his opponents within half an hour. Let s see.
