this is not good.....I remember LCW gave CL a trashing in Malaysia SS final (2010? not sure) then in the same year CL improved his game by leaps and bounds and started to give LCW headaches....maybe driven by his humiliation....

Can't wait to see both players and LD tango in this coming olympics

    After the disappointing Ban period

Chong wei deserves to taste success in front of the people who supported him throughout that period. Not too bad for Chen long.

Congratz to Dato LEE Chong Wei for the 11th title in the Malaysia Open! He commanded today's match with the very convincing big margins against CHEN Long, 21-13, 21-8 in 42'... Chen was allowed only half of Lee's points, Chen Long rather fonded of Long today. If not mistaken, this may be the first SSP title for Dato Lee after his suspension.

The male commentator, Andersen (!?) made some humorous remark, he uttered "How Lee Chong Wei will wish that today's match is the Rio's final done in Alam Syah." :) hhmmm

Nonetheless Chen Long will return stronger - here's to their anticipated 25th tie, hopefully in Rio.

So, is that correct that this one is Dato Lee's very first SSP (or even SS) title after the suspension? Congratz to him!

They should organise a kite flying competition in the stadium.

I was looking forward to an error-free duel but was disappointed.

At 18 or 19 point when LCW's smash hit the net and tumbles over, ST said LCW brought his own net.

CL didn't play to what he is capable of. Losing in straight sets with 8 points in the 2nd game is in comprehensible.

Chen Long and Lee Chong Wei are again on tie throughout their 24 times encounter, a dozen victories for each, with Dato Lee is victorious over their last three matches.

Plus do you know that both of this players will end up sitting in the wheelchair after their badminton career is over? This is because both of them have serious left right knee injuries with thinning cartilage on both knees. Both just played on continuously ignoring the injuries. It will be extremely severe when they retire later.

I have been back in Singapore for quite some time now :) Yeah, let's meet up!

I believe the last time we had satay with Ants, uncle Loh, and you were back in 2006, 10 years ago! I still remember INA won 2 titles in MD (Sigit Budiarto/Flandy Limpele) and Nova Widianto/Liliyana Natsir!

Singapore has always been a good hunting ground for Team INA since the inception of the SS in 2007. We have won 1 title for the past few years (except for 2009):
    2015 - Angga Pratama/Ricky Karanda Suwardi
    2013 - Mohd Ahsan/Hendra Setiawan
    2012 - Markis Kido/Hendra Setiawan
    2011, 2013, 2014 - Tontowi Ahmad/Liliyana Natsir
    2010 - Sony Dwi Kuncoro
    2008 - Nova Widianto/Liliyana Natsir
    2007 - Flandy Limpele/Vita Marissa

Team INA was also successful in the pre-SS era:
    2004, 2006 - Nova Widianto/Liliyana Natsir
    2006 - Flandy Limpele/Sigit Budiarto
    2005 - Candra Wijaya/Sigit Budiarto
    2004 - Luluk Hadiyanto/Alvent Yulianto
    2002 - Flandy Limpele/Eng Hian
    2001 - Tony Gunawan/Halim Haryanto
    2001, 2005 - Taufik Hidayat

Let's hope the trend continues this year :)

Ha ha, the 1st SS Premier may be the right attribute for he has won several SS after his comeback.

Lin Dan is the only player who makes Lee Chong wei play at his pace.

Momota's game has the same soul but it's worthless mentioning him now.

Others want to outrun and outgun LCW which has never worked and I think never will.

I hope you stop saying this again and again. They took some decisions which must have taken so much courage out of them and are training hard , playing well. I am sure they would be much happier if you appreciate how well they played instead of bringing this up again and again. Showing pity to such decisions isn't really what is needed for them.
