I must say that india is not ready for team events yet. India has good WS and MS players. But lack of quality doubles players is a major setback .

It is grouped in D with South Korea and Malaysia.

With Malyasia, it can win 2 singles and one doubles.
With Korea, it is going to be tough.

No. I was talking about India. With Malaysia, India can win 2 singles (LCW is still out) and one doubles( WD ). :)

DEN-INA tie will be close encounter to top group 1C which is very important step to avoid strong rivals at knock-out stage like title holder CHN, JPN and former champion KOR.

toughest group is definitely KOR/IND/MAS, followed by DEN/INA/ENG. CHN and JPN have an easy draw but they both earned their spot. JPN really is rising up to the top now.

KOR will definitely top their group, and it will be a tough fight between IND/MAS. MAS will likely won't get the service of LCW. but never know.

    MS: IND 60/40
    WS: IND 90/10
    MD: MAS 70/30
    WD: MAS 60/40
    XD.... might be the decider!

however, LCW will turn the table if he can play.

DEN should beat INA in their group. they have strong MS/MD/MX.

in fact, DEN for once in many years, is a strong contender for the title.

how did USA wound up in Group 1??

Absolutely even I have the same query about USA..
INA vs DEN what to say!!
    Towl/lily vs CP/JNF
    And NKM/GP vs CP/KRJ
I think any of the above matches can be deciding..providing CP have something in her engine :p
As far as IND vs MAS is concerned
It will be CWG gold medal rematch :) and I think JG can gift the match again to the MAS ladies :(
If PV is fit n fine IND can let PV pair AP the way they did earlier and AP (if I am not wrong) reportedly said she wants PV as her partner..That can work (fingers crossed)
Anybody know who is MAS going to field in XD?

I'm sure Korea would like to have your optimism!

Out of the 5 events, KOR definitely has the advantage in WS. But that's about it.

MD, may be slightly toward KOR.
    XD definitely tipping toward INA.

MS and WD probably 50/50 for both.

So, overall Korea should have a slight advantage but that's all, a slight advantage

    no, it wouldn't.

1-4 or 0-5 (x2) wouldn't make much different in the final table

I would say China, Japan, South Korea, Denmark are the main contenders.

I think India needs to develop at least one one good doubles pair(MD, WD or XD) before it can have a realistic shot at team tournaments.
India's singles department is pretty decent in both departments. They need a decent doubles pair in at least one department.

On paper, CHN is the front-runner in comparable with three other contenders as they have strong point for almost all 5 disciplnes, except unstable MD pairs. JPN isn't so good for XD and average MS players, DEN weakest link is definitely WS department while KOR is struggling to produce great WD and XD recently but still considered fave as they always be unpredictable and dangerous in team event.

Only three nations who capable to lift Sudirman trophy since its inception (1989), who will join the club next or China still maintains their domination once again?

Yes, I agreed with this prediction.....the match between Malaysia vs India will be decided in XD. It will be tough for India if LCW can play in this tournament.

    1. Chan Peng Soon/Goh Liu Ying,
    2. Wong Fai Ying/Chow Mei Kuan,
    3. Tan Aik Kuan/Lai Pei Jing or
    4. Chan Peng Soon/Lai Pei Jing

Almost all of them are unknown to me..
I still believe Ind can do it :)
IND can go up with AP/(AD/PJC)
Let's hope for the best..I hope the coaches take my advice and field AP/PVS(if PV is fit) in WD

    RUSSIA to replace USA. http://sports.sina.com.cn/o/2015-03-18/15477547128.shtml

It is reported that USA - due to one of its players being unable to participate whereupon after recalculating the member association's team ranking points lowered her to 16th position - has been relegated to the second division. As such USA's place in the first division will be taken by Russia whose team ranking moved from 13th position to 12th (originally occupied by USA).

Therefore, Grp B now comprised Japan, Chinese Taipei and Russia.

Only the groupings in the 2nd division require a redraw, the rest are not affected. http://www.bwfbadminton.org/file.aspx?id=623946&dl=1
