It's just lovely how you write off the RotW all the way up until 2016. It's a pity Akane will be primed on home ground in 2020; not sure how much she'll be up to it in 2016.

Either way, and nothing against LXR because I'm sure she's just a lovely person, but I can't wait for her to fall flat on her face to make you eat your words.

Tommy is finished, LCW is way too good for him.

Looks like a big upset in the making, world #2 and second seed is troubled by Hu Yun...

I really don't think it has anything to do with the TC. He is just dreading having to meet LD tomorrow.

I think it's quite safe to say at this point that CL will never occupy the very top spot as long as LD remains on the scene.

LCW won, 21-15, 12-21, 21-17. There is still chance for LD vs LCW :)

Even the 31 Yr old LCW easily toys with Chen Long these days.

CL is supposed to be in the prime of his career but he has serious issues such as having one of the weakest attacks for MS to fix.

Oh, it's all due to the disinclination of meeting LD and going through the motions when you just know what the result is going to be. Hu Yun is no Lee Chong Wei. CL should have no trouble beating him even at his current level.

No fight, no will to go against the tide whatsoever, to shatter your own and everyone else's expectations - ugh! CL deserves to forever be in second place, IMO.

Well, the records show NOBODY from the ROW has beaten LXR so far this year. Let see who gets the last laugh.

Poor Chen Long, his crisis of confidence due to the TC fiasco is still too fresh on his mind, not sure if he can get over it in time for the Aug WC and the Asian Games but I won't rule him out, absolutely not.

I agree with volcom that Chen Long has to work on sharpening his attacking shots - I believe LYB and his coaches know what to do but ultimately it's up to him to take the bull by the horns.

At least LCW woke up, perhaps realizing it's only the QF, there's still the SF to contest tomorrow, too early to worry about Sunday.

Oh, from now on I'll be rooting for anybody to beat LXR (and that includes her teammates) just so that your annoying smugness will be toned down a notch.

Haha maybe just one. But WYH was in this situation before the UC2010. Then comeback as WC2011. She may knows how to overcome the devil inside.
