Speed of smashes measured getting slower these days as technology advances. Back in 2005-2006 ridiculous smash speeds were recorded. E.g. FHF 334km/hr would probably be around 305km/hr with new speed guns. and the laughable recording of 310km smash by Lee Hyun Il in 2006 WC vsing Bao ChunLai.... Also Chen Hong/Taufik were easily getting around 300km/hr the whole WC. Taufiks backhand smash is another example.
Well, even if the person wanted to be negative, you have no say in whether he or she can or can't be. Put him or her on ignore if it gets your knickers in a knot so much.
So you think they don't use the speed cams thesedays because of the better technology and the smashes would be to slow to impress the crowd? Can't really share this opinion. Sure - there were some really ridiculous speed displays, but..I don't think they would be that slow that the crowd wouldn't be impressed..
Local fave Kenichi Tago bags semifinal ticket after def. Danish MS, HK Vittinghus 21-16 / 16-21 / 21-13.

I understand what you mean. Honestly I want to have as much faith in her as you do as I'm very fond of her actually - she has been my favourite WS player from before the LOG'12, still is. Perhaps I expected too much from her and, unconsciously, keeps wanting to compare her with her illustrious senior counterpart, Lin Dan.
It'd be very interesting to see how or when Chen Long recovers from his Thomas Cup blow which is expected to haunt him for quite some time.
Well, there's a MS on one court who's in two minds about wanting to make an appearance tomorrow, and there's a MS on another court who's half-hearted about showing up on Sunday. I think the former definitely wants it less. LOL!
Well, LD has LCW behind his back. LXR has nobody to fear. If she stays healthy and has emotional stability, she will win at least one more Olympic. Have faith.
