From the past result, badminton powerhouse China shows strong dominance in WD and WS disciplines to win 17 and 15 titles respectively of 20 edition while MS, CHN also is unstoppable since 2006 through Lin Dan (2006, 2007, 2009, 2011, 2013) and Chen Jin (2010). Indonesia proves their prowess in MD to scoop 8 titles of 20, mixed doubles is really balance as no domination of any nation in this category.

The formidable KOR pair Lee YD/Yoo YS has big chance to crown MD title after their predecessor Ha Tae Kwon/Kim Dong Moon did it in 1999 Copenhagen WC.

This might be slightly off topic (not really)

Hey folks, is there any possibility to see action on court 2 (BWF is not streaming it but some tv-channels might be?). Thanks.

Wei Nan is devastating at the back so much so that Kento is afraid to lift to him. One game apiece.

Wei Nan sends Kento packing, adding another one-round trip to his opponent's record.

One of my favourites in this WC and he is already out. I love Momota's style but he looked tired and given up already.. Nan Wei played really well though, he has absolutely tremendous smash!

From 15-11 down in the second game Nan Wei done tremendously to come back.

If I were Kento's coach i'd be furious. I'm sure he wants to win but his on court attitude just isn't reflective of that. Similar to a loss earlier in the year to Axelsen.
