Chou Tien and Kirsty Gilmour heading towards the danger zone against Raul Must and Karin Schnaase.

Another unexpected R1 exit, this time the casualty is Kirsty Gilmour at the hands of Karin Schnaase winning by a straightforward 21-15 identical score.

What on earth is happening between Must and Chou Tien Chen? Is Raul Must playing the game of his life or what?!

Disgusting lack of respect shown from Fernaldi as he lost his XD match. I see better attitude from junior players at club nights. This is the world championships.

Fernaldi showed obvious frustration with himself, simply unable to get his act together.

Agree with you. Of course it can be taken as funny act but as you said, this is world championships. But in another hand we can say that he did not do anything wrong particularly and he has a certain freedom to act as he wants as a sportsman. But when we consider that it is doubles, then you show lack of respect also to your partner which is not ok as pairs are dependent on each other's effort on court...

So we've four commentators for this WC; besides Gillian Clark and Morten Frost, there are Richard Kaufman and Jim Laugesen.

Still I am a bit disgusted looking that...as if he list only because of his partner and it was only him who earned points .

Now on TV Wang Z. V/s Rogalski ... Wang looks very confident, calm and composed...its good to see him that way...I can't recall when I saw him like this the last time.

Pradipta wasn't having a good game and was being targeted a lot but Fernaldi should have encouraged her or at least show some positivity. If he was playing with Kido there is no way he would have acted the same way.

Think Wang Zhengming's calf muscles are bigger than a Rhino

Yeah, WZM looking calm, confident and steady but a bit too casual at times, probably not expecting serious challenge from his Polish opponent. When he 's in full flow, his fast and furious attacking game is a delight to watch; just hope he remains sharp and focused all the time particularly when the competition heats up as the days go by.

Michelle Li doesn't quite seem match sharp to me. Her movement seems a little slow. Perhaps she isn't fully fit which may explain her late travel to the championships

You're right, can't believe they start showing from R1 ! The Starhub Sports Channels revamp promises to be better than before and it's looking that way.
