[DRAW] QF #UberCup | CHN v ENG | KOR v THA | IND v INA | JPN v DEN |
Thanks for the update. What about the Thomas cup?
Source of information? ;o
Can we watch the draw ceremony somewhere?
So Korea vs Tha and Jap vs Den would be interesting to see in the quarterfinals...
I assume easy run for Chn and Ind to the Semis in Uber Cup
Draw QF Thomas Cup l China vs Thailand l Japan vs France l Malaysia vs Denmark l Indonesia vs Korea.
easy for India?.. nope I think it's difficult .. INA has extremely good doubles pairs + Linda & Adrianti.. It's going to be tough for India as they need wins from WS1 WS2 WD1..
do we know what the semifinal matchups are like (AvB and CvD ?)
Similarily in the Thomas Cup IMO Malay vs Den would be the only one to watch
Jap got an easy prey, Chn, Korea in Semis already?
My prediction for the semi-finals:
1. CHN vs JAP
2. INA vs DEN
Not so lucky for India, top in the group but got the worse possible opponent. Lucky for Indonesia, compared to China, Japan or Korea, facing India is relatively easier.
But I think it would be difficult for INA Uber cup to progress beyond SF
Ok Not so easy... as I also see the 3rd WS and 2nd WD a tough one, I am assuming I see another SN/PV in the doubles...
My prediction for uber cup's semis:
1. CHN vs KOR
2. JPN vs INA
I think it would almost sure would be CHN vs JAP
And it would be INA vs MAS
It would be classic Thomas Cup rivalry between INA vs MAS
China versus England (Uber) will be depressing to watch, and didn't they just face off in a previous round? How dispiriting for England to be thrashed by the same opponents yet again!
Denmark (Thomas) also got lucky despite just losing in the group match to Japan - Malaysia is an easier prospect than the other seeded teams.
What would have you said if Tha was again in the frey for India?
Out of the 4, I would have rated Tha the toughest one as they have 3 strong singles players + 1 WD better than Ind while the rest have only better doubles teams. Ofcourse Eng would have been the easiest though, but Ina/Den both give the best chances India have got... Interesting thing for India would be what after that, if India progresses... even without doubles and still a learning 3rd singles player
DEN's 2 doubles were very strong when playing against JAP just now and if they can keep up the momentum, they can win all the doubles matches with 1 MS 3.
So after the draws you still expect a Thrashing in the Uber cups?
I wish I could tell you how much I wish to see your face when India thrashes China in the finals...
I'm wondering which matches are on TV courts?
