if viktor doesnt take this match then it would be the end for denmark this round cos even if they win the 2nd doubles, of which i think they stand a good chance to...the 3rd singles is probably too weak
WYH is giving herself too much pressure,it seems; despite CHN leading by 4-0, she still cannot afford to perform below expectation.
Pai Yu Po looking so relaxed, enjoying herself, smiling away and playing the right shots mostly whilst WYH is all tense and showing signs of frustration.
Pai is playing well, Wang is not in command so far, she's struggling... still open ending. seeing her play, i do wonder why Pai's ranking is so low, #80
Pai YP misses a golden opportunity to create a major upset. A close call for WYH who has to depend on brute force and tenacious defence to stay alive; she's back in business.
It appears that just too many countries have turned up underprepared in their doubles categories. Too many scratch pairs, and too many injuries. And this is the case, not just in the weaker and unseeded participating teams, but even in the supposedly stronger teams and some powerhouses. I'm surprised they did not see this coming. Perhaps it is an indication of much deeper issues.
Denmark and Japan are still playing until this hour and they will still need to play tomorrow perhaps with fresher opponents. It's a bit unfair though. The organisers should have thought about this.
